I've just had my 20 week scan and was told I have an anterior placenta. I'm convinced it's more to the right because I feel a fair amount of something to the left.
I've felt little pops the past few mornings and 1-2 throughout the day. Only felt it once with my hand a few days ago. My question is, how often did you feel kicks and when? I'm just curious if 2-3 times a day is what to expect or if I'm literally just feeling gas đ€Ł although I think I know the difference.

Youâll learn whatâs normal for you and go from that! Iâm now 36 weeks and still have âquieterâ days!

I think 20 weeks is still fairly soon and completely normal to struggle understanding what's what as I was the same đ
I had an anterior placenta but wasn't told and only realised in the last weeks of pregnancy!
I'd say, especially in those early months, I had days that I barely felt baby but then laying on the left side after some sweets or cold water always did the trick. Looking back, obviously the anterior placenta probably explained why.
In the third trimester kicks felt so strong with regular pattern hence why anterior placenta never even crossed my mind. I guess as the baby grows bigger, you'll definitely feel them đ

Aww the little pops are so adorable!!
I also have anterior placenta and didn't feel anything until about 21 weeks. No pattern or anything at that point for me, just realised I was more aware of movements at night in bed as you're more aware then.
Now at 25 weeks I feel stronger little jabs at times but even now its not a definite pattern, just I'd say more so after I've woken up, after eating and in the evening when im sat down again as im more aware of what I can feel then.
Some days I can feel very light muffled taps and then others now I can feel sharper pokes at the side where the placenta must not be covering.
Don't be worried if the movements are lighter or even non-existent on some days as it's still early and at this stage is unlikely to be an established pattern.
So exciting feeling them moving for the first time â€ïž

I didnât notice until 25 weeks and from about 30 it was dead on 3 hourly but youâll learn your own pattern
