That is thy question š
No but seriously my breasts are so heavy and aching. Iām 5 months pregnant and my milk didnāt fully ādissolveā from my first pregnancy two years ago. I didnāt breast feed because I wasnāt able to produce much milk but something tells me it will be different this time around.
Anyone with 2 under 2 experienced this type of discomfort? Should I use the pump to see if anything comes out and if so, how long should I be on it?

Im not positive so check with your OB or midwife but I think they say not to start pumping until 37 weeks to not induce preterm labor

I would just hand express for comfort and warm showers/bowl soak on your boobs. That or if cold lettuce leaves were recommended to me if it helped inflammation better. I used heat to express easier and soothe and cold to reduce inflammation. Whatever works best for you though, solidarity!

Pumping can induce labor. It's not recommended until at least 37 weeks. Cold compresses can help reduce inflammation. I would talk to your OB about it, they may have medical options to explore

You shouldn't pump or hand express until after 37 weeks as it can cause preterm labour, speak to your midwife around if they have any tips on how to relieve any discomfort.

Midwife told me not to do any stimulation especially pumping as it can send you into preterm labor
