I've not done either yet and I thought I'd at least of gone out for an evening by now but also haven't done that. I thought when I was pregnant by 4 months I'd have done a few things but on the other side I'm just not ready. My baby is quiet clingy as well and often gets hysterical which only I can calm so makes me very nervous. He's in his big cot but in our room atm.

Not left overnight yet but my boy has been in his own room since 3.5 months. He’s huge and far outgrew the next2me and no room for his cot in my bedroom 🤷🏼‍♀️ he’s slept sooo much better since moving

No and no, not until she’s at least a year for her room and I’m not letting anyone take her for the night until she is much much older. That’s my personal preference tho x

No it’s recommended baby stay in your room till at least 6 months. I didn’t move my toddler till he was 1

Mines 18 weeks I left him overnight 2 weeks ago. I was dreading it , but I left him with my mum who stays with me all the time as my partner works away. It was absolutely fine and made me feel so much better about doing it again. Xx

Nope and nope! Overnight will be when she’s about 15 YEARS 😂 and own room, noooo. She’s not ready for that yet - neither am I x

Nope! But only left my 2 year old for the first time when I had my second (4 months)... my eldest had just turned 2 3 weeks beforehand. And she hasn't slept anywhere else since 😂

And no to own room too! My.first went in at 14 months, but she was a wake every 1-2 hours round the clock kinda baby. My 4 month old sleeps great so she could move at 6 months, however they're going to share rooms and my toddler still wakes more than the baby so will probably wait till they're both sleeping better!

😅 I didn't leave my first overnight with anyone till I had my little one, n tbh I think it will be the same with my little one. Ideally, I wouldn't leave them alone till they can speak, but thats just me. Currently both sleep in my room, I got my oldest cot in my room he is 2 and baby is in bed with me. Both wake up multiple times throughout the night so it is just easier for me

My baby has actually stayed out overnight since he was 5 weeks old🫣he’s been with my mum who I fully trust, we’re very similar and she does everything I ask of her for my baby (I am one of 5 so siblings are still at home too who help out and my dad too) I cried the first time he stayed out but now I’m fine with it I do miss him but it’s definitely helped my mental heath a lot (my mum was 16 when she had me so she knows the struggles of post partum etc) so I’m grateful to have her! He’s not going in his room till he’s at least 1 or maybe older x

I haven't left my daughter overnight yet or moved her into her own room - I've stopped at my parents with my daughter a couple of times. My parents have my daughter on a Saturday for a couple of hours. I hate the thought of her stopping out without me or her dad there and I'm dreading moving her into her own room. So used to her being in a crib next to our bed

Yes my nov 25 baby and my Oct 23 baby stayed overnight at their uncles a few weeks ago and it was nice to be able
to spend time with my husband. If you feel like you’re ready go for it! If it terrifies you wait until you’re ready! xx
