I’m 20 weeks pregnant today with my second baby, i haven’t really felt much movement in this pregnancy which is abit strange, i’ve felt the odd kick or flutter but that’s all is it normal to feel like this it. I do have a scan tomorrow to check everything is okay. last pregnancy i had scans but i’ve only had about 3 in this pregnancy as i went away for 2 week so my next one is tomorrow. just want to be reassured that everything is okay because i stress myself out all the time 😩 xx

Do you know where your placenta is this pregnancy? As that can have a lot to do with feeling movement. I’m 19 weeks with my 3rd, my placenta is at the back, so I can feel some kicks and movement but they are very minimal at this stage which is normal as they aren’t very big yet. I think from 24 weeks onwards is when you feel the big movements x

The odd movements is a great sign, they say to keep an eye on movements from 24 weeks with their routine etc. hope you get some reassurance at your next scan! Could be down to the placement of your placenta xx

It takes until 24 weeks to take note of the routine and consistency, it’s quite normal to have irregular/inconsistent movement at the moment and may be that you have anterior placenta too x

I'm also 20 weeks and have not felt any regular movement.
And I have a posterior placenta which should make it easier to feel things.
Had my 20 week scan yesterday and baby boy was moving lots lol
Sometimes it just takes a bit longer to feel consistent movements
Also most ppl only have like 2/3 scans max in the entire pregnancy. I wouldn't worry that you haven't had one in 2 weeks.
I was told that you could only have a scan every 2 weeks but I’ve got 3 in one week

What do they look like for you? I’m trying to work out if I were to have a second what variation I might get!
I know it’s not as black and white as this, but choose the closest answer and feel free to comment more specifics! ☺️

Was supposed to get induced tonight at 39+2 days but the hospital is apparently busy with deliveries so now I’m on standby until they have room 😭😭 but they don’t know when that will be. anyone else have this happen to them?
I’m so nervous anyways about labor and this is really putting me over the edge.
