Cramps!

Omg! About to hit 30 weeks and my cramps are ramping up! I’ve never experienced leg cramps so bad in my life, it feels like my leg is going into a full on spasm / break down. I cried myself to sleep because it wouldn’t stop! I hate feeling such a drama queen but my gosh it’s crazy?! Anyone else suffering? Any tips other than bananas and leafy greens 🫶🏻😃

Only thing that helps me if straightening my legs out to the point where I feel like I’ll bend my legs the wrong way and point my toes violently towards myself 😭
Leg cramps are one of the worst parts of pregnancy, I really feel for you

Magnesium if you’re not already taking it? X

Hun, I completely get it’s horrible ! I find stretching it out as physically possible works for me !! I literally have to then walk around for a bit someone once told me magnesium is supposed to be really good for it

I've been getting them badly too since around 26 weeks. I find bringing my leg up and flexing my foot makes it stop quicker. Soaking legs in my expert midwife bath salts is also helpful before bed and taking magnesium is really good. It usually happens on the nights I forget to take the magnesium.

What to do

I have my c-section coming up in a few days and found out the date when I received my letter at the weekend. I’m quite a private person so I decided to only tell my parents and partner. I have 2 older sisters but decided I would tell them the night before. My sister called me to ask the date and I made out I didn’t know it as I didn’t want to tell her. She took it upon herself to ring the hospital and they told her the date of my c-section. I don’t know if I’m being dramatic but I think that’s insane as she’s not listed as an emergency contact anywhere, and I’m quite irritated that they’ve told her because she could’ve been anybody. I’m not sure whether it’s worth putting a complaint in or not?

Sorry it’s long lol

Birthday

So idk if this would be considered bd drama, but he just texted me “happy birthday” my birthday isn’t until April 20th, we’ve known each other since 2024. And I just feel a little sad that he doesn’t know my birthday. Should I appreciate that he tried? Or be upset that after all this time he still doesn’t know my birthday?

Rolling?

Baby girl is 6 months old. 7 months on the 23rd. She’s not rolling yet. Doesn’t seem like she’s interested? She’ll arch her back and turn her body over; kinda like rolling but doesn’t. Just wondering if any other moms are in the same boat? She sits on her own really well but still needs support so she doesn’t fall back. Is this considered behind? 😅

Has anyone ever had a cerclage removal? I am scheduled to get my cerclage removed at 36wks. I am wondering how labor will progress, what I should I expect. Before this I had a severely shorten cervix with funneling, 1cm dilated.

I am kind of nervous not sure what to expect. I’m 32wks tomorrow.
