Honestly feel like I’m force feeding her. I try to offer every 4 hours max, but yesterday for example she only fed 3 times properly - 6am, 4pm and 8pm. She didn’t have loads of solids either, and only 3 light wet nappies which is very normal for her. Everyone says she’s diddy 😅

4 or 5 times generally, sometimes more. But the feeds are getting really short and unpredictable. Only 2 during the day (before afternoon nap and at bedtime) feel like proper feeds anymore and then 1 or 2 overnight. We have talked about moving to expressed bottles or formula because it's so up and down.

When she wakes up, before nap 1, before nap 2, bedtime, once or twice in the night. She only likes to feed around sleep times. She loves solid food x

Roughly 4 in the day and 1 or 2 overnight

Once every wake window, so about an hour before the first nap, second nap and about an hour before bed time if he's grumpy. Then he feeds to sleep at bed time and has 2-3 small feeds throughout the night.

Thanks everyone ☺️ I’m leaving my daughter to go on a hen do today and I’ll only be able to feed her before I go, once in the middle of the day when my husband brings her to me and then when I get home before she goes to bed. Hoping that’ll be enough as it’s only one less feed than she’ll usually have during the day 🤞 x

Every morning before we get up and every night before bed. Then sometimes once extra in the day sometimes 4 times. We co sleep so he is a comfort feeder in his sleep. I don't keep track during the day of his feeds, if he's getting a bit grumpy or a bit unsettled, I'll ask him if he wants any, so each day is different.

No kissing

Those of you who didn't let anyone kiss your babies, when did you start to let them?

I've had a no kissing rule since my LG was born, which was fine at the start but there have been a few incidents lately where her grandparents have kissed her where we have had to say something. One of these incidents she ended up in hospital with bronchiolitis and the other grandparent suffers from cold sores so I'm uncomfortable with her ever kissing my LG if I'm honest.

I just want to protect her but my partner thinks there needs to be a cut off point where we say it's ok.

Co-Sleeping

I’m seeing alot of mums mentioning co-sleeping, at my hospital they had us sign a paper saying we wouldn’t and all the risks of it.

I’m just curious why there is so much negative on it when it seems it’s a positive in some cases I’ve read.

Can’t hold a conversation with my 2.5 year old

He only started really speaking a few months ago and while I know he knows a lot of things, follows instructions so well, I still can’t have a conversation with him.

At most I’ll get a couple words stung together and almost always they are just words I have said and he is repeating them back.

I try to ask him about his day or what we just did and he’ll just repeat it back. He even does it with strangers when they have said hi guys, he’ll repeat it back to them or say hi followed his own name and he’ll do this with us too.

I really thought once he started speaking that we can finally talk, but it’s just him repeating and not really responding

What time do you put your baby to bed?

My baby is 6 months and her bedtime is 5:30-6pm whenever I look online it says this is too early but she gets so tired and cranky and wakes up early if it’s any later. Would love know what time is everyone else’s bedtime?
