Do you recommend an epidural?
I didn’t have one with my first and I’m unsure for this time around.

Low dose (mobile) epidural - 100% yes if not coping with the pain/ exhausted! Had for my first and was amazing 😅

Everyone and every pregnancy/labour is different.
The main thing to note is that with an epidural you are more likely to have an assisted birth or a c section.
I had an epidural after a long labour before I let them try to induce me. It led to a c section. There's nothing wrong with it, I was able to rest and sleep but I want to try for a VBAC this time so will be avoiding an epidural like the plague haha.
So some research and work out what is best for you xx
Oh i absolutely do not want a c section if I can avoid it, I laboured for 7 hours with gas and air for my first but I did struggle massively with pain.

Then maybe look at pethidine first then ❤️❤️ xxx

I have had 4 births without an epidural or pain relief and just using Hypnobirthing techniques
If you don’t have one you can be more upright and get in better positions for birth that reduce tearing and reduce the risk of needing extra interventions. Laying on your back is one of the worst positions to birth in as you are working against gravity

It was a god send for me! I had back to back labour for 51 hours xxx
