Ms Ratchel

Okay moms. I’m feeling super guilty. I let my 10 month old watch ms Ratchel, it’s not an every day thing but I run out of ideas to play with him. He refuses to crawl, hates tummy time and has no interest in wanting to try. Any other moms currently going through this?

My Baby also watches Mrs Rachel and it makes me feel bad because I see so many “ TikTokers/influencers” doing day in the lives with their babies and they literally entertain them all day. I’m like how 😩don’t feel bad. Mrs Rachel is a very good learning show for them.

Please done feel guilty. I let my 9mo watch Ms Rachel at least once a day so I can get things done.

As far as crawling, try not to stress. (Easier said than done though) every baby is different. Is he getting on his hands and knees at all? If so, crawling will come. If not, maybe bring up your concerns at his next ped appointment. Maybe they can help with some physical therapy you can try with him at home?

My 9 month old is watching Mrs Rachel right now so I can get some coursework done, I think it’s not bad as long as you’re balancing playing with them too. As for crawling, my baby hated it when she was younger but laying them on you with their tummy to yours counts too

You can let him chill and not play directly with him. I honestly don’t sit and“play” with my 9 month old all that much. At least not with toys. She plays independently while I am getting stuff done or I’m carrying her. Or she’s at my ankles 😁 I talk to her a lot. She plays on my lap and we make faces and sing and chat. She’s my little buddy, but I do not entertain her 24/7. If you want to give him some kind of stimulus, put on some music. Owl City, Donut Man, Disney, Laurie Berkner, Heather Forest. Put books around him to look at. Put down toys for him to reach for. Our lives don’t have to be 200% with our children.

We have ms Rachel playing everyday on the tv while my 9 month old either sits in the corner playing with his toys by himself or sometimes he’ll sit and watch and then continue on his way and play more while I do dishes or get stuff done and once I’m done I’ll sit and play with him while mw Rachel is still playing. It’s a great learning show and makes him smile and babble (he loves faces and people) I’ll sing along and play with him it’s also great background noise as I don’t like the house quiet because it’s just me and my baby :)! As for the not wanting to crawl I would bring that up at his next ped appointment but all babies are different and he might just like your attention and help.

Any one know Toni?

I specifically mentioned in my post this is a no judgement group chat & this is the first thing she does be careful because me and my friend were once in a group chat with her a while back and she talked so dirty to us because we gave our babies purees said "your doctors know nothing " "your baby is gonna have issues " and "yall are dumb" that "i trust online research not my doctors " just beware!!!

Formula advice

I was just curious if anyone has switched formulas. My 12 week old baby has been on aptamil 1 since birth but due to crap mat pay and the prices of formula nowadays I was wondering if anyone can advise if they switched and (or) if they've used aptamil and changed; which brand did they switch to. Thanks mummas

Infant dyschezia

Does anybody else’s baby suffer with infant dyschezia, my little one is 8 weeks old tomorrow and passes loose/watery stools, however everytime he needs to go he strains, goes red and screams until it passes which sometimes can take hours. We currently give him lactulose which doesn’t help as his stools are already soft anyway. We have tried the usual warm baths, bicycle legs, tummy massages etc. Any advice would be appreciated!!

Toddler not listening

Ok my 2 yr old does not listen to me. I know everyone says that but what do you do when it starts lol. We were walking on the side walk and he just took off (he’s never done that before) I was running yelling after me and he was laughing. I got so scared because we live on a boulevard so it’s busy. But just lately he’s been saying no no no to me and runs away. Idk what to do especially in situations like this that are dangerous.

First period after birth

Conflicting!
One dr has told me I should have had a period by now and another has said it’s completely normal?
I’m nearly 8 weeks post partum and haven’t had a period yet but this week I’ve had my normal pre period symptoms without having one?
When did everyone get theirs my son is also formula fed so I know that plays a part if their breastfed.
