Mucus

My 6 month old baby is struggling with mucus. He isn't particularly unwell just congested in throat and nose which is making him cough. Sometimes he gets to the point where h is choking on the mucus and then ends up vomiting, which releaves some of the mucus.
I have tried nasal spray but it just makes him so upset. What other successful ways have you got rid of mucus?

I keep a humidifier in the room! Helps loosen up some of that mucus!

Get a suction machine and I’m not sure which nasal spray you’ve tried but Sterimar is my go to and very gentle

Hi! I found that a good vapour bubble bath and steaming out the bath room works a treat x

^ We have a shower but have a collapsible Nuby bath and I put that in the shower and leave the shower running without the fan on and then use a snot sucker to get it all out x

Have you had this experience ?

I had my anatomy scan last week and baby looks great! 🥹 Everything looked normal, which was such a relief. When I reviewed the official report afterward, I noticed a diagnosis code that said “Supervision of high risk pregnancy,” and of course that made me a little nervous.

I messaged my doctor about it, and she explained that technically I’m labeled “high risk” because of my starting pregnancy weight (206 lbs), but she reassured me it’s not something they’re actually concerned about in my case. She emphasized that everything looked great on the ultrasound, baby is healthy, and I’m doing amazing so far.

That definitely made me feel a lot better, but I’m curious—has anyone else been told they’re technically high risk just based on weight around 200 lbs? 🥴

Is this a good enough reason to consider doing a weight loss pill?

I am a big emotional eater/bored eater. I hate it and Ive tried so much... No matter what anytime I'm bored or sad I can't stop myself.all I think about is food and no matter what or how much I eat I always want more until I literally get sick...Do you think that's a good enough reason to go on weight loss pills?

Stretch and Sweep

Hi girls!
I am 41 weeks and I am booked in for a membrane sweep this morning. For the past 3 weeks I have been in false labour and have lost my mucus plug around 5 times.

How many of you have had successful sweeps please?

I feel like I am trying everything and baby girl is just too comfy haha

Growing up too fast!

10 months old today. Started saying Mumma last week, 2 bottom teeth cut through today giving her 4 teeth now and this afternoon she started trying to take her first solo steps 😭😭 Why is it going soooo fast!? She was just my teeny newborn, I’m actually unwell at how fast she’s growing up haha 🥲🤍
