Stretch and Sweep

Hi girls!
I am 41 weeks and I am booked in for a membrane sweep this morning. For the past 3 weeks I have been in false labour and have lost my mucus plug around 5 times.

How many of you have had successful sweeps please?

I feel like I am trying everything and baby girl is just too comfy haha

think it help’s as I was only dilated 1cm when I had one at 41weeks and then went in for a induction few days later and I was 3cm.

I had a stretch and sweep with my daughter at 40 weeks a second sweep at 40+3 and then 3 days later I went into labour spontaneously. It worked great

I had a sweep on Tuesday and I was already about 2cm. I had another sweep yesterday, at around 2pm, I was 4cm. Baby arrived, without any further intervention, 12 hours later. This is exactly what happened with my first as well.

I had 2 sweeps. My second one I was in really early labour without realising (odd contraction here and there so thought it was Braxton hicks) so after my sweep I went into labour about 6 hours after😊. Was in labour for 30 hours after they started but🤣, I didn’t need intervention to get to 10cm. They’re uncomfortable but don’t hurt! I’d recommend if you want to go into labour the more natural route, it’s worth a try!! X

Have you had this experience ?

I had my anatomy scan last week and baby looks great! 🥹 Everything looked normal, which was such a relief. When I reviewed the official report afterward, I noticed a diagnosis code that said “Supervision of high risk pregnancy,” and of course that made me a little nervous.

I messaged my doctor about it, and she explained that technically I’m labeled “high risk” because of my starting pregnancy weight (206 lbs), but she reassured me it’s not something they’re actually concerned about in my case. She emphasized that everything looked great on the ultrasound, baby is healthy, and I’m doing amazing so far.

That definitely made me feel a lot better, but I’m curious—has anyone else been told they’re technically high risk just based on weight around 200 lbs? 🥴

Is this a good enough reason to consider doing a weight loss pill?

I am a big emotional eater/bored eater. I hate it and Ive tried so much... No matter what anytime I'm bored or sad I can't stop myself.all I think about is food and no matter what or how much I eat I always want more until I literally get sick...Do you think that's a good enough reason to go on weight loss pills?

Growing up too fast!

10 months old today. Started saying Mumma last week, 2 bottom teeth cut through today giving her 4 teeth now and this afternoon she started trying to take her first solo steps 😭😭 Why is it going soooo fast!? She was just my teeny newborn, I’m actually unwell at how fast she’s growing up haha 🥲🤍
