I have a c section booked for the 19th of December but due to allergies and other complications I have to have it done under general anesthetic. Has anyone else had this? Anxiety is starting to build and was wondering if people could share thier stories so I knkw what to expect. This is my second baby but first section.

Out of interest when did you book your date for a c section? Im due on 20th december and dony have a date yet. Im 29 weeks

I had a C section that ended in general anesthetic, honestly going to sleep and waking up to your beautiful baby is the best gift and everything will be smooth sailing - because of my first experience this is what is happening next time round for me and knowing where I stand with a general anesthetic makes me feel so much more relaxed. Wishing you all the best xx

I found out next week my c section date I am due between 26th November -4th December depending how my bp stabilises . Good luck with yours , can I ask what allergies you have ? As I have a couple and I wonder if they will say to me . Thanks x
Got my 12 week dating scan booked and I’m honestly feeling so upset and lost about what to do 😔❤️
We literally have no one around us who can have our 17-month-old while we go. He doesn’t go to nursery as I’m a SAHM, and unfortunately children aren’t allowed in the scan room.
It feels like our only option is for my partner and our little boy to wait in the waiting room while I have the scan alone. But that means my partner misses out on seeing our baby for the first time, and equally, I really don’t want to be on my own if there were to be any bad news. I just feel like I need him there with me, whatever the outcome. 😢
I know lots of people probably have to deal with this kind of situation, but I genuinely don’t know what the answer is. We don’t have family nearby that we can ask, and I’m really struggling with the thought of having to choose between my partner being there for me and him getting to see baby.
Has anyone else been in this situation? What did you do? ❤️

Due date was 11th but having to be induced tomorrow due to baby not growing enough since last scan or at least as far as they can see on the scan he’s not grown… I had a C-section with my first which was 4 years ago so have no idea what labour is like.
I’ve also been told that I’m at higher risk of my scar re opening due to the induction process… can anyone give me any info or advice on how to prepare for this?
Feeling very overwhelmed and stressed but baby is moving fine and he’s getting enough oxygen for right now so I’m hoping everything will go smoothly and won’t need another section as I’m really hoping for a vbac this time around.

My baby is nearly 6 months, he has always hated tummy
Time but is getting stronger, he can roll one way, and can physically roll the other way but won’t unless we encourage him, he also predominantly uses one hand and kicks one leg although he can do it with both, should I be concerned? He has his 6 month review at the end of the month but my head is spiralling
