My baby is nearly 6 months, he has always hated tummy
Time but is getting stronger, he can roll one way, and can physically roll the other way but won’t unless we encourage him, he also predominantly uses one hand and kicks one leg although he can do it with both, should I be concerned? He has his 6 month review at the end of the month but my head is spiralling

It could just be that he’ll end up using that side as his dominant(being right vs left handed vice versa)

I don't think its anything to worry about- but we had a similar problem early on and a paediatric osteopath helped correct underlying tension

I would just bring it up at the upcoming appointment or call/message the pediatrician office for advice

I genuinely don’t think you have anything to worry about but I’d say keep an eye on it and speak to the GP and/or health visitor if it continues. Babies shouldn’t really have a preference and they monitor asymmetry - I know as we had similar but my son at 11 months is now using both sides equally.

12 week scan

Got my 12 week dating scan booked and I’m honestly feeling so upset and lost about what to do 😔❤️

We literally have no one around us who can have our 17-month-old while we go. He doesn’t go to nursery as I’m a SAHM, and unfortunately children aren’t allowed in the scan room.

It feels like our only option is for my partner and our little boy to wait in the waiting room while I have the scan alone. But that means my partner misses out on seeing our baby for the first time, and equally, I really don’t want to be on my own if there were to be any bad news. I just feel like I need him there with me, whatever the outcome. 😢

I know lots of people probably have to deal with this kind of situation, but I genuinely don’t know what the answer is. We don’t have family nearby that we can ask, and I’m really struggling with the thought of having to choose between my partner being there for me and him getting to see baby.

Has anyone else been in this situation? What did you do? ❤️

Induction

Due date was 11th but having to be induced tomorrow due to baby not growing enough since last scan or at least as far as they can see on the scan he’s not grown… I had a C-section with my first which was 4 years ago so have no idea what labour is like.
I’ve also been told that I’m at higher risk of my scar re opening due to the induction process… can anyone give me any info or advice on how to prepare for this?

Feeling very overwhelmed and stressed but baby is moving fine and he’s getting enough oxygen for right now so I’m hoping everything will go smoothly and won’t need another section as I’m really hoping for a vbac this time around.
