Implant?

Has anyone else had the implant in & has been bleeding constantly since? I had my baby in December & had the implant after, been bleeding constantly & probs 1/2 days clean in total. Really starting to annoy me, I know it’s one of the side effects but still 🤦🏻‍♀️ if you experienced this, what did you do? Did you tell the doctors or anything?

I had this a long time ago! The implant seems pot luck, I had friends who never had periods with it, I never stopped bleeding, and others who had normal periods.
When I went to drs about it they gave me the pill to help with periods, so I said there's no point doing both! And asked for it to be taken out, they were reluctant but I stood my ground.

I had the implant a few years back and it gave me spotting everyday and bloody periods, and random bleeds I just had to wear liners everyday cause I couldn’t predict the amount of bleeding. So annoying but I’ve not found any contraception that didn’t have something attached to it for me

Sorry you have to go through this, that sounds horrible.
Honestly we are doing a mix of calendar method, pull out and condoms on the dangerous days... That's more natural than anything else ..

I had this problem as well I went back to the doctors and they put me on the contraceptive pill for a couple months to counteract the side effects of the implant then after that even though I stopped taking the pill my periods somewhat regulated again x

C section belly pain

Hi! My c section was December 2024. At my 6 week checkup, i shared i had this point tender pain like an inch above and maybe .25 inches to the right of my belly button. Got an ultrasound a nothing. 15 months later im still having this point tenderness. Sometimes the pain is more apparent, sometimes baby is held a certain way and i get pain there. Not sure if a nerve thing, an adhesion, something else? Anyway thought I would ask if anyone has dealt with something similar. Did you figure out what caused it?

Hospital bag: Big bag or small bags?

Hey ladies

Do you think it’s easier to take one bigger bag? Or multiple small bags? I thought hand luggage carry on would suffice but absolutely not 😂 so thinking either a medium suitcase or a few little bags? What’s people’s views x

What feels/felt like the longest wait, the 12 week scan or 20 week scan?

For me I feel like the 20 week scan right now is the longest wait. It's not because I care about gender, I just want to know everything is okay and what to buy 😭 but it feels like forever away even though it's this month

What does labour feel like and when do you know it started?

I have two and a half weeks to go and I'm starting to get nervous about every pain or ache I get. What does it actually feel like/ where does the pain start or come from?

Water discharge/ 23 weeks

Hello moms! I'm having a watering discharge that can make my pants wet. I did call midwife triage and went to the hospital to have a check.
The test for aminiotic fluid came out negative.
But it's so strange this watering discharge.
Has anyone here had this experience?
I know I'm being a bit paranoid 😅 but I'm still want to have other tests done. I will ask my midwife next time.
I'm just trying to relax and not worry . What you girls do to not get worried?
