everyone’s bodies are so different, there’s really no timeline in terms of how fast, but i’d say if there’s any concerns like if things don’t seem ā€˜right’ (i use that word loosely because that can look different for everyone) then i’d say speak to your GP or your HV xx

I thought the normal complaint was being too tight down there after, or having pelvic floor issues. So i think I’d be more concerned if it felt off that way and would see someone

I honestly never looked after my first, the prolapse freaked me out too much, wish I would’ve bc then it wouldn’t have taken years to find out about the husband stitch my ex managed to ā€œjokeā€ about & get me, but mine healed up pretty quickly, about 8w & I wasn’t feeling like I had grown a peen since like 4d PP, just sore when I touched the area that had been stitched.
My 2nd I was completely normal by 6w, my hubs watched during stitches to make sure they weren’t overdone, even though I knew my now OB would never, but it was my now hubs who helped me get comfortable again over 2yrs after it happened, so he was on top of that. You should ask for pelvic floor therapy if it’s still bothering you, no shame in wanting to help the process along, even if they think it’s ā€œnormalā€, you wouldn’t be asking if it was normal for you or if it wasn’t bothering you.

For me, the inside is back to normal after a month, outside still has me like 😨 cause I can see WAY too much 😭

Pee’d myself or water broke?

I’m seriously so unsure on if my water broke or not. I had a bad ā€œI need to pee feelingā€ as I was bending down to grab a trash bag and when I got back up I felt like I tinkled myself a little and then I was like oo yeah I gotta go. Before I know it, I can’t stop and it keeps coming. I feel like it really could have been that I thought about it too much and a little coming out made me want to pee more but this is my 2nd pregnancy and my water did not break the 1st time so I’m unsure and now stressing out. It happened like 40 minutes ago and I haven’t had any more ā€œfluidā€ since then. I also could not tell the color as I was wearing black pants but it did smell like mainly urine

Vaginal birth Vs C- Section

Hi hi. So I have a consultation with my GP tomorrow to decide whether or not I would require a c-section because of my fibriod. I already kinda just want to do a c-section. I wanted to know from those that have had both, which do you prefer and what are your experiences with both.

8 weeks 2 day scan!

Can’t believe how much my baby looked like a baby at my private scan! 8 weeks 2 days via abdominal ultrasound. Got an nhs scan tomorrow due to HG, hoping they’re still cooking away nicely. After two miscarriages this year it’s the first time I’ve got to see a heart beatā¤ļøšŸ™

20wk ultrasound tomorrow

First time mum and have my 20 week ultrasound tomorrow!
Very excited I get to see my baby boy again!
How long will the appointment last?

Also I understand this is likely to be my last NHS ultrasound which feels so crazy because it is only half way through pregnancy!

Wondering if it is worth getting a private ultrasound later on?
