Hi, i’m looking for advice/tips to get my breastfed baby (3wks) to take a bottle
She currently just goes on the boob but i’m trying to get her to take a bottle, However when i’ve tried she just refuses, i’ve tried using different bottles such as tommy tippy and mam bottles but she still won’t take it
Also wondering about pumping i.e How often should i be pumping ? How to increase my milk supply to make a stash ect
Any advice and tips would be helpful
Thanks

Have you tried getting someone else to offer the bottle and you to leave the house or at least room? Have a look at pace feeding as this can reduce chance of them getting a bottle preference. Offer the bottle when baby isn’t starving, but also is hungry enough to accept.
When it comes to pumping, it’s generally recommended to wait until your supply is established, in order to not create too much oversupply. This generally is around 4 weeks, so you may be fine from now anyway. I think it depends how often you’re wanting to offer a bottle. If it’s something you’re doing every day, I would simply replace a feed with you pumping and someone else giving a bottle. If you want to keep up your supply, don’t forget you will always need to pump that missed feed x

I used the purple bottles landioh for my first he preferred that teat worth a try. I’m going to use for my second to from 4 weeks too

We used mam bottles but felt like it gave him too much air when when it was paced and moved to the lansinoh bottles and used paced feeding and he seems to be doing better, however I can’t be in the same
Room as him and the bottle has to be his only option, my mum watched him for me for a few hours a few days ago and he was on bottles and I walked into the house while he was on a bottle and he came straight off and waited for the boob 🤣
