When did people choose to stop breastfeeding? Little one is nearly 14 months & I’m feeling very pressured that he “should be on cows milk by now”

We've been doing a mix of Breast Milk and Cows Milk since he was one, but that was only because I wasnt pumping enough to send into nursery with him.
WHO recommends breastfeeding alongside solids for 2 years and beyond, and as long as LO is getting calcium elsewhere and Breastfeeding still works for you I dont see the need to add in cows milk. I wouldn't have introduced cows milk as a drink as soon as I did if pumping enough milk hadn't been so difficult for me. It almost didnt manage it for his first month there

Do you want to stop? Why should he be drinking breastmilk made specifically for calf's rather than breastmilk made specifically for humans?

Don't listen to other people, just do what you feel is right for you your baby! There's tonnes of evidence that supports long term breastfeeding. We're still breastfeeding and I aim to do so until she's 2 unless she weans herself before then. I know loads of babies who don't even like cows milk so there's no guarantee if you were to stop BF your baby would even be drinking cows milk instead!

My daughter weaned herself at 12.5 months because she preferred food 🤦♀️ she didn't really drink much cows milk until last week (at 13.5 months). So I guess I didn't really have a choice haha

As someone that breast fed for 2 years but wanted to go until 3, trust me when I say when that baby is ready you will know 😂 you don’t have to ‘wean’ off they do it naturally (at least in my experience) keep going until ur both ready girly! Don’t let outside noise get in ur head! My best advise would be to read up on all the benefits and when someone says why are you still feeding you have a list ready to fire at them and make them feel silly 😂
