Help I need milk

I am 5 weeks pp and struggling even producing an oz. I have two other children 10 and 8 that breast fed for yrs and it was never a problem. I have not had an appetite since I gave birth so eating might be an issue. But I’m also very stressed with my relationship. Any tips I appreciate.

More water and more food for you. when I first had my little boy I would drink a slimfast milkshake or even two a day just to top me up nutritionally x

There's many people selling it and banks you might want to reach out to. FB market place is a good one. I've got an over supply and a 3 week old if you live nearby I'm happy to share. Pumping for 30min every 2 hours helps and there are supplements and snacks you can buy to boost supply. Even if nothing's coming keep pumping and stimulation will help too. I use the momcozy pump so that I can still work and do chores while pumping and it doesn't get in the way of my day

Have you tried seeing a lactation consultant? Eating and drinking is
huge. I struggle with this too. Some days I just cant eat but I try to force myself. I try to also get a protein shake in if I am just having a day.

This is my third and I have been struggling with PPD and so I know thats a big reason for having no appetite. Have you possibly seen your OB about that? Also a lot of PPD/PPA is linked to nutrition deficiencies. So make sure to continue your prenatal and calcium supplements. Its so hard.

Are you pumping after breastfeeding or just straight pumping?

Have you tried lactation cookies or even the powder to add to your water to help you produce more? I’ve been on that plus the cookies and it has helped tremendously

Sleep during the day.

My nearly 4 week baby girl loves her sleep at night and will easily settle back down after her feeds however, during the day I struggle to get her to sleep or when she does she will sleep in my arms, if I try to transfer her to her cot she wakes straight away. Any suggestions on how I can help her or what I’m doing wrong?

How many words is good for 18 months? My child says 22 words that I’ve counted and I feel proud but is this just average lol

Wake windows a myth for some?

My baby seems to laugh in the face of wake windows. We wake around 6-7am, he might fall asleep after his breakfast feed for a little bit but his only other long nap is our lunchtime walk in the carrier. Otherwise he is awake for hours on end but seemingly quite happy.

If anyone has a newborn who also doesn’t conform to the whole 60m rule, don’t worry, your baby isn’t broken and you’re not doing anything wrong, just go with their flow!

Bed Time - 4 months old

Hey mamas! How is everyone coping with an early bed time routine at 4 months old? My old friend chat gpt reckons that an early bed time of 7pm-9pm should be the norm but my girl will not go to bed until after 10pm 😭. Is it too early for sleep training or do most just follow their baby’s tired cues? X

Did anyone else’s epidural not work?

Writing retrospectively here. I had a epidural with my 1st baby in 2025 and it pretty much had no effect, I was in absolute agony the whole time (hours). Anyone else experience this?

Midwife now says this isn’t normal and I shouldn’t have been in pain.
Due my 2nd in 6 weeks and debating weather I should go for one again. 😣
