Over talking? Guilt?

I feel so tired of everyday having to talk about the pregnancy itself, the baby, the pain, the planning, the prepping, the baby shower, complaints, things I need, all of it is si draining. I feel like I need a day to just feel like myself and not talk about anything bay related… then I feel so guilty for wanting that and unappreciative. I can tell people around me kinda get tired of the topics too. I feel like i’m just a burden…

If you feel like your loved ones are tired of you “dumping” your emotional issues on them, find a therapist to talk to. That’s truly who we should be venting to. And, if you need a day to just feel like you and avoid anything baby related, make it happen. I have plenty of days in life where I focus on everything else in life, and there’s nothing to feel guilty about because other things (including yourself) need your attention.

Unappreciative? Just because we’re pregnant or even mums already doesn’t mean we have to think/talk of baby every minute of every day. I still have childless friends I go out with and we eat drink chat laugh about other things- men life work hobbies makeup fashion etc. go dancing even, it’s healthy… take half a day or a full night off and be yourself for a night. You are not being unappreciative if you just turn your mind off for a night. Maybe if you did it more often and only talked baby when necessary you wouldn’t feel like a burden. Honestly my 3rd baby I hardly ever talked about being pregnant by then it was just meh and another baby 😂
