Milestones or teething or something else?!

How’s everyone getting on?

My baby (11 weeks) has suddenly stopped drinking her milk properly and will kick off.

She’s also drooling like crazy and won’t stop chewing her hands 🥲

Are yours like this? What are you doing to manage it? She was drinking over 800ml last week and it’s suddenly dropped to 600ml this week because it’s such a battle to get her to drink!

My son is 11 weeks this week and he’s become so unsettled the past few days and is constantly chewing his fists but will refuse milk

My baby is 12weeks as well and I’m breastfeeding, he will do 10/15min per feed.. at times it’s like he’s getting mad at me and wanting to bite my nipple off ! He’s drooling and chewing his hands as well.
We do tummy time mostly on top of my chest.
I also pump and last night gave him a 130ml bottle I had just pumped and took him over an hour
12weeks growth spur is no joke

It’s likely the 3 month growth spurt. I think the dribbling is still cause they haven’t mastered swallowing saliva yet, he’s super dribbly 😂

Yes 14 weeks here on Wednesday. My little girl has been extra fussy - she is drooling or dribbling and she always has her fists in her mouth or her blanket if she manages to get it there, she also cries when I feed her on and off and it is driving me bananas because I just don’t know why, I was wondering if her gums are hurting her with the teats from the bottles ?

My baby was born with a tooth which had to be removed at 11 days old as it was wobbly. At 1 month he grew another which is still in now at 2 n half months. Pretty sure he struggles with it.

Sometimes goes through days where he will neck 6oz every 2hrs and others were he doesnt finish 6oz every 4 hrs

Sleep training

Everyone on Instagram promoting sleep training either tends to charge for their course or says to ‘comment’ for their guide which in turn doesn’t really help much.

Anyone know of anyone actually giving advice on sleep training?

Gut feeling

I’m trying to get my mind right, trying to find something to take my mind off this got feeling I’m having that something just isn’t right and when I have this feeling I’ve never been wrong. And I just want to not think about what it could possibly need cause I know once I find out it will not be pleasant. How do you shake your worries and this gut feeling?

5am wake ups

My 2 year old keeps waking up at 5am and is cranky and tired enough that she wants to go back to sleep but needs lots of cuddles. But because by this point sleep pressure is low she’s takes over an hour to resettle and fall back to sleep. By this point my alarm is going off 6:15am for work 😖😩
She used to wake up nicely around 7am and we’d all be a lot calmer and have breakfast together but now I’m either letting her sleep in a bit so she’s not over tired and there’s always a big rush to get out the door.

Any tips?

She goes to bed at 8-8:30pm naps around 1pm for 1h-1h:30m

Sleeping tips for newborns?

Hi moms!
How are your babies sleeping, especially those under 3 months?

My almost 8-week-old baby sleeps for hours in my arms, on my chest, or in the carrier, even while I’m moving around doing chores. But the moment I transfer him to his bassinet, he starts grunting, wiggling, and wakes up and starts crying.

I can spend up to 2 hours trying to get him to nap in his bassinet, and he still doesn’t fall asleep. By then, his next feeding is already coming up, and he hasn’t napped at all! 😩

At night, he sleeps much more peacefully when we bed-share. I’ve also noticed that he’s calm and quiet on my chest but much noisier and more restless in his bassinet.

I’d love to hear your real-life experiences!

What actually helped your baby sleep in their bassinet? Do you use a special swaddle, a particular type of bassinet, or any tricks to make the transfer easier?

Colicy Newborn

I’m a first time mom and my newborn is about 4 weeks now and began being fussy and just about inconsolable around 2 weeks. Most days he doesn’t nap or sleep at all during the day and is crying just about all day. I can’t put him down without him crying & if i’m lucky on the days he does nap he’s down for about 2-3 hours. I was told newborns sleep most of the day and have “wake windows” but mine doesn’t at all. He’s fed, changed & burped but will cry from morning to night and I spend my days holding and rocking him. Any tips?
