Learn more about our guidelines.I had a private scan today and it was so reassuring. Anyone who’s feeling a bit nervous, have a look at whether there’s somewhere close to you. It cost me £60 for a 15 minute appointment. I am 8 weeks and it’s incredible! You can see they already have 4 limbs and you can see the bones in the spine forming and the heartbeat is visable too! She reassured me that the yolk sack is in the right place etc too. Would highly recommend it! Picture for anyone who is also 8 weeks - your bubba will look very similar! 😍

Hey guys, I’m currently 40 + 4, and I’m 100% sure my mucus plug has just gone, I had a sweep done yesterday at 2:30pm! I’ve read that this could still be days away, has anyone had there mucus plug go and then have contractions etc a few hours after? It’s my first baby so honestly have no idea what to expect! Thank you xxx

is anyone else worried about having a big baby? i had my first in 2024 and she was born 39 weeks weighing 8lb13oz and so far it looks like this baby is going to be even bigger! my bump alone is measuring above the 90th centile at just 26 weeks🫣
