VBAC or Elective C-section

Hi!
So this is my second pregnancy, 37 weeks right now. In first pregnancy, I had delivery through emergency c section, no labour at all. Anyone in similar situation and what did you opt for in second pregnancy- VBAC or Elective C-Section? What were the reasons for selecting any of the two and how was the experience?

Do share your experiences. It will put me at better position to decide. 😊

Yet to have this baby but I'll be attempting a VBAC šŸ‘šŸ¼ had an emergency c section after a 32 hour labour.

My reason for choosing a VBAC is because the recovery will be easier with my toddler running around and the reasons I had the section aren't likely to repeat themselves this time round.

That being said I'm not against another emergency section if VBAC doesn't work out. I'm quite easy going and will mostly go with the flow as long as people listen to me and don't ignore me like last time lol xx

I haven’t had a c section but I did have a really traumatic vaginal birth with my first and I am choosing to do that again. Recovery wasn’t easy but honestly I couldn’t even imagine the recovery after a c section so hats off to you!

Only got one child. But I personally would go for a section. My only regret with my child was that I bothered trying to have him naturally to begin with. VBACs aren’t without risk and a lot of the reasons why patients need a section to begin with will still be present for subsequent pregnancies (if not worse). Couple that with scarring making the whole process more difficult… it’s a no from me. But you do you. Just make sure you do all your research.

I had an emergency C-section with my 3rd baby, after a failed induction. I’ve opted for an elective C-section this time around, I’ve chosen this for many reasons such as worried to have an emergency one again, childcare and I’m also having tube removal for sterilisation

How many C-sections have you had?

I’ve had 2 C-sections and we still want more kids but we know the risks of having multiple and it’s scary?

Pregnancy after c section

When can you get pregnant after c section for it to be healthy and not dangerous for your c section scar?

transvaginal ultrasound bleeding

I had transvaginal ultrasound yesterday. I’m 6 weeks pregnant.

I’ve just wiped and have a small amount of blood šŸ˜” I know the internet says this is normal but wanted to hear from woman that had the same and everything was ok?

Thanks

C section scar

Hi, I’ve had a c section and it has healed so nicely to the point where you can barely tell it’s there. Im worried if I have another will it possibly be way more noticeable and do they cut in the same spot? Should I be considering doing a vaginal birth? I loved my c section experience although it was an emergency c section last minute.

Exhausted

I’m 37 weeks and just totally exhausted, is anyone else the same? Feel guilty for not being productive as I’ve finished work and had grand ideas of sorting out every kitchen cupboard/shelf but a combination of pgp, insomnia and up 4-5 times a night to pee is meaning I just find the days so tiring. Tell me I’m not alone šŸ™ˆšŸ˜… also any energy boosting tips welcome (taking supplements, also started on some additional Floradix hoping that’ll pep me up…)

Anyone feeling baby yet?

I’m 19 weeks and starting to feel a little bit nervous as I haven’t felt baby move yet. It’s baby no.2 for me and I’ve always heard of others saying you start feeling movements earlier with baby no.2. Im sure I had felt some flutters/movements by now with my 1st baby.
