Hey, I’m 25 weeks tomorrow. At 4am I woke up and my stomach was gurgling loudly. I went to the bathroom and it was complete water coming out. I went back to bed and an hour and a half later was back in the bathroom. I attempted to go to work (8:45 start). By 9:30 I had gone to the bathroom twice and at 10 I went and ended up throwing up my breakfast (into a garbage can) as I was on the toilet. I went home at 12 and forced myself to eat a few Wheat Thins and sip some water. I fell asleep till 4 and then was back in the bathroom. I’ve been in and out of sleep since. I’m worried about dehydration and the lack of me being able to eat for my baby. What should I do?

Definitely get in touch with your primary doctor if you’re still having symptoms! As far as hydration, try coconut water or something with electrolytes. Sometimes water isn’t enough. And for eating, try something light like low-sodium soup.

It's probably norovirus. If you get dehydrated your ob or the hospital can give you IV fluids.

I would call your nurses line if your office has one. If not I would try to make an appointment for as soon as possible. I freak out over everything I would go to the ER

A few days of not eating much won't hurt the baby.

Sounds like a stomach bug for sure - I love the Earth’s Best Organic Electrolyte Solution when I am sick, it tastes like yummy apple juice and is easy to sip on and doesn’t have harmful ingredients. Broth is a really good idea. You’ll want to let your Dr know so they can monitor it, if you can’t keep water down for a certain amount of hours then they will likely have you come in for IV fluids just to help you recover faster / keep baby healthy! So sorry you’re dealing with this, i experienced something similar during my pregnancy. I promise it will pass!! ♡

Call your primary care provider for sure , as for hydration and eating switch to electrolytes or coconut water with a pinch of salt. Light broths and soups, rice porridge.
Generally there isn’t a huge concern if it’s a few days.

If it’s water coming out possible ur water broke def reach out to ur Obgyn or even go to the hospital
