I feel like I’ve already spent so much time putting together the arch & other decor & brainstorming ideas, not to mention I will be putting her wedding bouquet & arch together along with getting her ready day of wedding. I just don’t want to spend more money than I already have 😩

If you offered to throw the shower, I’d definitely get a gift as well

Unless she has a registry then it’s okay, you can give her a gift at her wedding . If you want you can get her flowers.

I wouldn’t want to receive something that someone felt forced to give me, unless it’s wholeheartedly don’t.

I would NEVER want any of my siblings to spend money on a gift if they were worried about the cost. Even if they hadn’t done anything at all. If you’ve done a whole bunch of stuff already and don’t want to also get a gift, you certainly shouldn’t worry.
My sister did my wedding flowers and that was my gift ☺️

Could be something small or homemade, maybe more housewarming? Like flowers and homemade jam?
It’s about the gesture of a gift 🤷♀️

If she is going on a honeymoon then gift her a little survival kit. It will not cost much and you may already have extra items in your house that you can use. Some items to include could be: lip balm, hand lotion, sunscreen, electrolyte packets, candy, condoms, gum/mints. This is a really simple yet extremely thoughtful gift.

Why are you asking people's opinions if you've already made up your mind and having an attitude about it? 🙄 And yes, you should get at least a small gift.

If I was RICH RICH sure I’d also buy a gift but I ain’t so if I’m doing decorating/ planning stuff especially if it’s costing me money that’s my gift. I would feel the same if it were the other way around. I may do an extra decorating project so something as an added surprise “gift” but that’s about the best I could do.

I read it as baby shower at first, and chose get her a gift.
Bridal shower is a bit different, especially if you’re giving a wedding gift too. Personal opinion, hosting or spending significant money on a bridal shower can be done in lieu of a shower gift.

If you don’t want to or can’t afford an additional gift no. Helping host a bridal shower is already a big expensive gift.
I’m just gonna jump straight to the point lol. I want to find friends I can makeout with. Girl friends. I’m in a loveless marriage I don’t want to get a divorce but I’m literally dying inside without someone to pour my cuddling and kissing needs into. I guess I just want to know if there’s any other moms out there that have successfully found a deep friendship with another woman that they were able to bring to the next level without actually having sex.

I don't understand. I've done nct course, didn't click with any of the mums, im doing swimming classes with the baby for 4 months, im doing baby activity classes for the past 2 months.... LO is 8 months old. Like today, 3 new mums, plus me, all had a great chat, class was over and I went on to help to clean up just to return and see the girls exchange phone numbers but none of them asked mine. I smiled and said goodbyes but I was left with this very bitter feelings. All these activities I am the only foreign mum. Everyone else is british. My english is very good. I'm polite. Kind. Happy person. I just don't understand. Have you ever come across situation like this?

Anyone got a male partner with low sex drive? Feels very rare and lonely to navigate as men usually are these horny rabbits.
Just wondering if anyone has any experience or advise with this?
I am currently pregnant and our relationship has been on the rocks but the sex life has been poor for a few years.

Honestly feeling so alone in this season of motherhood. I don’t have a friend close enough where I can just call to have company, or to talk to about things I’m currently going through and honestly it feels really lonely. All my friends are childless travelling the world, partying etc and I’m currently pregnant with my third. I find it hard to connect with other mums tbh and I don’t know why.
