WIBTAH if I start doing the same thing back to him?

My FIL keeps constantly filming me every single say. He isnt even sneaky about it anymore. He knows I dont like and still does it anyways. He doesnt care. The only time he doesnt is when he sees me filming other stuff for youtube cause he knows that I have an increased chance of catching him with proof if I record him recording me. He also aks me awkward questions about my phone even though he is the one recording me.

Can I vent a little 🫣

I thought I had the best parents in the world growing up. Everyone was soo jealous of my relationship with them. I had the “cool and young” parents. But as I’ve gotten older I’ve really struggled. My parents are divorced. The divorce was not kind or easy on any of us. I was given a lot of information by both of them. I was an adult but it was still a lot. My dad isn’t consistent. We talk every few weeks. Sometimes he visits monthly and sometimes every four to six months. It’s rarely planned in advance with only a short notice. When he’s here he’s busy with his job, which I understand. But he often has to take calls and step out. His girlfriend is very different from me and my family and we disagree on a lot. My mom struggles with her mental health. She feels rejected by me. She thinks I am uncaring. I can’t give her the attention & care I was capable of when I was younger and single. It feels like I’m floating in this world without the solid foundation of my parents. I miss when I was younger and thought I had it all. Now I feel so profoundly alone in my grief over losing (or never having) other versions of my parents. Can anyone relate? Any advice? Thanks for being here 🩷

I know it’s not like a big deal but I am emotional wreck. lol she started at school. We have had the conversation about it and how to handle it, but my baby girl called me crying ; she wanted me. 🥺🥺 And I just cried on the phone and told her mama is coming to get you. Lol
Anyway would a care basket be too much ?
Like with snacks, maxi pads, water, her favorite soda and a teddy bear( which she still collects) lol
Her dad thinks it’s too much and may make her feel uncomfortable.

Your go to meals?

What are some easy meals to whip up that your baby actually likes? My baby used to eat a variety when it was only tasting (before 11 months) but now she is almost 1 and really only purposefully eats ravioli, meat sauce, and fruit. I’m glad she eats those but looking for some other core meals I can make her that is also something I’d like to eat since it’s really not feasible to do 2 meals all the time. Looking for breakfast, lunch, and dinner ideas! She doesn’t care for toast which is interesting since almost every other baby seems to looove it - I’ve tried PB, almond butter, regular butter, avocado. Just not a toastie girl I guess. i find myself constantly second guessing if i’m being manipulated by my husband. it feels like he bends things to seem as if i have other terrible motives for decisions i make.. for context, he has allowed his brother to stay with us for months until he gets a job and gets an apartment. i’m upset by this because his brother just loudly doom scrolls on our couch or talks my head off about drama in his life and isn’t really trying to get a job and move out, also im a very introverted person and i like to give my daughter undivided attention when i can. this would be fine in short periods of course but im a sahm and am home ALLLL DAY. anywho, he broke our no vaping rule inside for the 3rd time today, and i told him he only has 3 tries. i in fact after the 2nd time i told him if he can’t stop himself he needs to leave it in his car. and he still ended up not listening. now my husband is telling me he’s not going to kick him out. and is saying that i gave my daughter an anxious attachment to me which to him is “worse for her than his brother vaping inside around her”. he’s telling me it’s not about my daughters health AT ALL and just about me wanting him out. called me a bad mom, a bad partner, and said i only care about myself and am a cold hearted bitch. brought up the whole anxious attachment thing, which btw he says she exhibits because she cries when i leave and come back and when someone else tries to get her to sleep. and he says it’s my fault because im anxious. listen i am anxious sometimes, but isnt that kinda normal behavior for an older baby? she’s 1 and still breastfeeding.. i told him if i am causing her to do that i will do everything i can from here on out to not be anxious. and he responded with “so you can make mistakes and not my brother”
