8 weeks and no smile

My little girl is 8 weeks today and still hasn’t socially smiled, is anyone else the same? She’s quite a fussy baby and never seems very happy when she’s awake tbh! Any input appreciated. We have a check up on weds so I know I can mention it then but I anted to see if anyone else is in the same position?

Might be worth speaking with your health visitor/GP, did you not have appointment around 6 weeks?

Same here, my little boy is quite refluxy and unhappy during the day so only manage to get out a little smile in the morning. I read that it can take up to 10 weeks for them to socially smile so let’s hang in there! 💪

Percentile measurement

Stressing a little as they said baby is measuring 10.6 on the percentile measurement at 20 weeks scan. They said all measurement follow this trajectory so proportionally small baby. If below 10 they would be considered too small so just worried we are just on the cust.

Plus first time mum and have no idea what this means 🙈

C section Scar (second time around)

I saw another post about scars the second time around and how they heal. I am curious if anyone had a bad scar the first time around then had it "revised" the second time and kind of cleaned up? With my first section I got an infection at the incision site and ended up getting a pretty big keloid (which I've never gotten on any other scar). I am hoping that this can be fixed during the second section. I am aware that I there is a chance that I could get another keloid. But has anyone had any success with this?

It's so ironic

My son's father wanted so bad to have my son have his last name... Fast forward 18 months later, and he's never met him

Thank God he has my last name

C section incision

I’m 4 months pp I had an emergency c section however my incision is still not fully closed up. I’m having to wear dressings every day and there’s holes that haven’t closed that leak.
I just want to know if this is normal or if anyone else has had a similar experience. It’s not infected or anything it’s completely clean just not healing.
