Depression

Did anyone have PPD hit months after birth? My son is almost 8 months old and I’m feeling like I have PPD. I honestly blame it on the lack of sleep I get. We cosleep but he uses me as his pacifier all night long so I’m waking 10-15 times at night and I’ve been unable to break him of it. I feel sad, alone, sometimes angry that I had a baby. I would never hurt him I just feel like I regret having him which makes me feel even worse and more guilty. I’m also working full time and have 2 other kids so the stress is wearing on me.

I’m really sorry you’re feeling like this. I think you should go to your obgyn and see what options do you have. I hope you are able to reach out to family and friends for support. If you feel like talking don’t hesitate to reach out as well. I send you hugs.

I’ve been feeling so down. I don’t really have anyone to talk to about certain stuff but I’ve just been feeling so depressed lately. Idk what it is. I don’t even want to brush my hair or teeth. None of my pre pregnancy clothes fit I’m almost 5 months postpartum. I’m the biggest I’ve ever been in my whole life 😭 I feel like my bd ruined my life. Not because I have his baby. But because he completely changed after I got pregnant and was cheating on me my whole pregnancy. He put me in a fucked up situation and I can’t get past it. Is it normal to get ppd months later? I haven’t felt this way until just recently. 🫠 I’m just so drained I have no energy to cook or clean. I only shower because me and my baby shower together or I would probably shower every couple of days. 😪 I don’t even feel pretty or recognize myself when I look in the mirror…

My sons doctor said we can use melatonin, is she right?

Last time I questioned about melatonin and a lot of mommies said no to it. My son doesnt have a legit sleep schedule yet. Its hectic. I cant stay up until 430am anymore. I give him melatonin and hes out 30 min after I give it to him for the rest of the night. He also likes taking late nights because hes in school from 1 to 4...what would you suggest?

Breast Pump - Recommendations

Hi all! As a first time mama to be, what do you all recommend for the best breast bump? I know insurance covers this so was hoping to get an idea of what brands are best!

Night-time nappies

My little boy is 8 weeks old. We're using Tesco's
/Aldi nappies during the day. But they just aren't lasting during the night. What nappies is everyone using for nightime?

To tell or not to tell?

My MIL oversteps boundaries, disrespects our parenting decisions and belittles me as a mother in various ways. The first time she did this was when we brought my baby home from hospital and she stayed with us, the second time was recently.
She lives in another country so we only see her once or twice a year. Is it worth telling my husband how I feel or just leave it as he obviously loves her so always excuses her behaviour as 'trying to help' and I don't want to make him sad :/
