Just looking for some advice
Ive been in and out of hospital for the past week or so, with swelling, flashing lights, ongoing headache, and a high bp that wont lower. I was put on bp tablets which they have now doubled my dosage.
Im 36 weeks and i feel as if the hospital isnt doing a lot to help, theyve booked me a scan and given me medication, but considering theyre questioning preeclampsia i feel like not much else is being done.
Does anyone have any advice on what i should do, or has anyone else been through a similar situation and it turned out to be fine? Im a first time mum and im not really sure what i should be expecting

My hospital were worried about the same, but only because of high blood pressure, they’re continuing to monitor it. I think monitoring is the best thing they can do.
They may suggest an induction.
Have they checked your urine for protein? And blood test? You can have pregnancy induced hypertension which is more watch and wait or you can have pre eclampsia which is more serious. Hopefully they give you a few more answers x
Maybe having a scan will give them more answers. Maybe speak to them about an induction if you are concerned and you’d be happy to go ahead with that.
