32 week ultrasound

Yesterday I had my 32-week ultrasound at 32W4D. I read the results and it says based on the size of my baby I am 35 weeks with an EDD of May 19th. Lucky for me, I track everything on my phone, so I know that isn't possible. I have an appointment with my OBGYN on Monday but I'm wondering whether they are just telling me my baby is big? Has anyone else been in the same boat before and still had the original due date? I was set on a June baby 😅

They shouldn’t be changing your due date after the 12 weeks scan. I’d definitely check with your OBGYN x

C Section under GA

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if any other mums here had a C-section under general anaesthetic? I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences and how you felt afterwards.

I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed with mixed emotions at the moment. On one hand, I know it was absolutely the best and safest decision for my baby, and I’m so grateful for that. But at the same time, I feel really sad that I missed those first moments after the birth.

I also had a spinal fluid leak afterwards, which meant I was in a lot of pain and couldn’t care for my baby as much as I wanted to in those first few days. I think that’s added to how I’m feeling about it all.

I’ve got a birth reflection appointment booked with my midwife, which I’m hoping will help, but I just wanted to reach out here in the meantime. If anyone has been through something similar, I’d really value hearing how you felt and how things settled for you over time.

Thank you 🤍

Baby Bodhi, Born at home on his due date 🥹🩵

After weeks of start stop / prodromal labour our baby boy was born on his due date at 20:25pm!
I went into triage that morning as I thought that my waters had started to trickle (this was only by the off chance because I felt a tiny bit damp I honesty thought it could of just been watery discharge because it wasn’t a lot) and I tested positive for my waters going, they wanted me back in at 6am for an induction the next day (which I really did not want) I went home spent the day preparing and went on a nice walk, contractions began less than an hour before he was born on the living room floor in 2 pushes 😭😭😭 I didn’t have chance to make it in my birth pool or into the ambulance waiting outside for us, (my midwife wanted me to go in to deliver at hospital) what an unbelievable experience!

I never thought id be posting on this

Has there been any moms that have been cheated on but they did right by your and your 1 year old and made things right?

Just found out my partner cheated at the beginning of our relationship and flirting with girls through it and messaged sex workers and met up with them 4 months ago (2/3) sex workers for a quick romp for 15 mins.

I feel sick to my stomach. I hurt so bad. Ive cried so much that im numb.
Ive just ordered a test as Ive had flu symptoms so fingers crossed im not suffering with HIV 🤢 I feel lost.

Wedding dilemma!!

We (myself, husband and 3 year old daughter) had been invited to a wedding in October and responded to the invite. Since then, we're pregnant and due in June.

I received a text from the bride (husbands cousins partner) saying that babies were not invited to the wedding and she hopes it doesn't change anything.

I completely understand child free weddings but it's upset me that my one child is invited but my newborn who is more reliant isn't. I'm not willing to leave my 3/4 month old so early on.

How would you respond to this? Decline?

Baby's stomach measuring big at 20 weeks

I had my 20 week scan yesterday and everything looked perfect apart from the baby's stomach was measuring a bit bigger than expected. Has anyone else had this and what did it mean? They have told me not to worry and that because I already have a gestational diabetes test in June they don't need to book one.
