Self referral - Badger Notes
I recently found out I’m expecting my second so did a self referral in order to have a midwife and sort out the booking appointment. I made the referral on the 3rd April so taking out the days for Easter, it has now been 8 working days since making it.
How quickly or slowly did you guys get the first contact from the midwife team?
This is completely different from when I had my first as I just phoned up and got a call back from them within 24 hours.
Having to go incognito as no one knows I’m pregnant yet.

This can be really normal depending on how busy they are. With my first baby I waited 3 or 4 weeks for an appointment/ to hear back with my second they told me the same day x
i filled a form online, but i this it also depends on your local hospital. in any case they won't bother contact you until your 11th week as for my experience
It can take several weeks in some areas
