Following! We're in the same situation, wanting to start soon, we've introduced potty books which she absolutely loves 😂

I started at 2 years old with my first, when she could communicate really well so il probably do the same with my second, i just bought a regular potty, stayed at home for the first 4 days naked from the waste down and from that day forward I stopped using a nappy only for naps and bedtime, I'd always make sure she went to the toilet before leaving the house but I also took plenty of spare clothes with me because they where plenty of accidents along the way. I made it fun bought a little sticker chart and let her chose some hand wash, she enjoyed the little system we had going on of going on the potty helping me pour it down the toilet, washing her hands then putting a sticker on her chart.
It's not easy, and a lot of children do go through a regression on wetting themselves so there was plenty of washing for me to do 🤣 but the key is once you start don't resort back to nappies because it will confuse them, if you're going to do it make sure you're well prepared and 100% ready to put the time and effort in

Then we progressed onto going on the toilet, maybe after 6 months. I bought some little steps for the toilet so she could then go by herself independently with me waiting outside incase she needed some help

My first I started at 26 months so I'll probably do the same. Although she is showing interest in sitting on the toilet and has done A poo on the toilet a few times
Any mums give their 4 month old babies any food like puree or pouches?

At what age is this a reasonable expectation. My daughter is 4 as of August. Shes very smart, but lately we’ve had a horrible time with responsibility, paying attention and respecting boundaries. She is constantly losing things like her beloved toys, and her water bottle, or leaving things in the car then having a crisis because she wants it wherever we are. She is constantly doing the exact thing we tell her brother to stop doing, or not to do then lies about it or smiles like it was a joke. I’ll tell her not to bother her baby sister while she’s asleep or eating, and she will continuously grab her hands or feet while she’s eating and then look me in the eye and tel me she wasn’t. I don’t know what to do anymore..

My stepdaughter has ODD/ADHD and anxiety, and in the last few months she has become out of control. She has started to steal my 15 month olds diapers and using them at night because “she’s too lazy to get up”. Then hiding them in her room. She has started stealing anything and everything she can. She is in therapy, meets with psychiatry once a month. We are starting in home counseling, and they are recommending when she has anger outbursts to call 988 for a crisis team. Has anyone dealt with the stealing, lying, bathroom issues, misbehaving that comes with ODD and found something that works? Psych says creative punishments, but nothing is working ughhhhhh
