Have you had a mil/ ex mil who tried to act in charge of your child?

Kinda. My MIL is a family doctor, so she naturally thinks she knows what’s best for our baby.

I’d set boundaries by saying “Our pediatrician recommends this,” but she’d still go on her own tangent. We keep enough space to stay on good terms, but she definitely has controlling tendencies.

My MIL made a whole instagram page of my daughter when she was born, like one of those cringey ones with bios talking on behalf of the baby 💀 and she blocked me from it so I didn’t know until I saw my husband scrolling, so I can relate and had to shut that sh*t down lol I’ve had lots of issues with my MIL some of them are much worse too lol, but I learned how to handle it and she definitely shows me more respect now, whether or not she actually likes or respects me I don’t really know and don’t care, as long as she constitutes to stay in her lane lol
