How old is your first? And were they easy or colicky or in between?

I was excited about my second as he was very much planned. He was also very colicky where as my first was super easy and also 10-11 years older. With my third, who is closer in age with my second, I know what to expect and it’s been much better post partum

2nd pregnancy was fine, 2nd baby took a toll. Was a lot trying to keep them apart when eldest was ill, trying to potty train and handle a newborn was hard. But once we got that out the way was so much better and they are so stinking cute together

I'm pretty freaked out. I wanted another baby and I'm really excited to have a boy and a girl but I definitely have that feeling of here we go again and that it just got easy. I'm so scared of the sleep deprivation

Ngl my initial response was scared and pissed for all of 5 mins. I had SEVERE ppd and that alone turned me right tf off. It wasnt the sleepless nights. It wasnt my son being colicky. It wasn't my son never wanting to be put down. It was the fear of being a prisoner of my own mind again. When I told my husband he was beyond excited and I was shocked. Wasnt expecting him to be mad but truth be told, neither was planned. We always wanted a kid. And agreed at least 1 and if 2 then far apart in age (they will be 9yrs apart). But when he was calm about the whole thing I calmed down too. Im actually due in less than 4wks. My first had a may 8th due date came 3wks early april 29th, 2nd is a daughter due may 12th but now wondering if she will come early and they may wind up sharing a bday. 🤣 I entered the nesting stage and have been getting her room ready. Its actually been kinda fun. 🤣

Hi! I was surprised, scared but I honestly told myself that if women before me did it then I certainly could too. My first is 3 years old to throw that in.

Honestly having a 3 year old kept me grounded and reminded me of how fast it goes by anyway, so while I was afraid of the sleepless nights and of course the crying, etc….it only lasts for a short while before they are on to toddler world and need you less and less each day 🥹.

Risk assessment for pregnancy

I told my manager on Monday that I am pregnant (7+5) as I've been feeling quite tired and sick and thought she should know. I work in a nursery so the job is quite physical and involves lifting, cleaning etc.
She said she won't bother doing a risk assessment until I'm 12 weeks and that the pregnancy shouldn't impact how I work at this stage... not sure i agree with this, but not sure what I can say.
Any advice?

When to announce pregnancy?

I'm 10 weeks and my sibling is having a baby that is due any day now. Do I wait until after baby is born to announce my pregnancy so that I don't take the spotlight away from them? Or do I just do it when I'm ready?🤔

Nausea/Sickness 26 weeks

Hiya all.
26 weeks pregnant and the nausea/sickness is still there 😭 some days are good some days are bad, no where near as bad as the first trimester, that wasn’t fun. I am on anti sickness tablets which I feel are starting to loose their effectiveness. I also have a 3 year old aswell. Finding this pregnancy a lot harder than my first. Anyone else experiencing this? X

39 weeks and still waiting

Just here venting.

I had my first at 38+6, so this is the most pregnant I’ve ever been. First pregnancy was amazing, easy, spontaneous labor, birthed at home.

This time around, the doctors were sooo sure that I’d probably go into labor spontaneously and early again. I thought I would too. But Im still waiting. On top of that, baby is breeched. My hospital is highly trained in vaginal breeches, but not past 40 weeks so I’m feeling down to the wire. Tired of being pregnant while also grieving potentially not having the vaginal birth I had hoped for. Come on babyyyy, let’s get movin!
