Are doctors /nurses supposed to ask?

Hey canadian moms... i have a question.... ever since my first birth i always felt like my lady bits looked a little different. Not bad per se but it feels like i had a cut and am not even aware of ut? You know that cut they do that starts with e? I did have epidural at the time so if they did cut i didnt feel it. Are they not supposed to ask me if im ok with it? This was back in 2012. I have no idea if Humber River even keeps records of it. I dont think it was done with my second birth since i dont see no visible difference but ... its kinda upsetting they do stuff without asking or telling us? I was so young and naive at the time so i would have probably caved in anyway but still. I fee like these hospitals
Rush births and it stresses mom and baby more.

Is it possible that they did ask and you don’t remember? I don’t remember them saying anything about it (or loads of other things that needed to happen) to me but my partner said they did ask and explain it

They didn't tell me they used a vacuum on my baby during a c section.

Episiotomy and yes they should’ve asked for consent. I feel like thats something they should’ve included in your charts. Worth a call so you can know for sure! I can understand that must feel super invasive if you don’t remember being asked about it

Baby no.2 coming earlier?

So this is baby no.2, first baby didn’t ‘drop’ until near due date but this baby dropped about 3 weeks ago. I have had a lot of pressure and generally just feeling like I could go at any point! I’ve had some on/off very mild cramping through the day and the last couple of days I’ve also had loose stools and now I’m panicking! Will I go early? I don’t even have my bag packed and all baby stuff is at my mums 4hrs away!!!!

Is it worth getting a pregnancy ball?

I like the idea of using it but also just think it will be staying in the middle of my living room being not pretty and slightly annoying 😅

For those who had at least 2 full pregnancies. Which one was the hardest??

For those who had more then 2 full pregnancies, please focus on the first 2 only 🙏🏼😊

Anxious

Hoping someone has been through something similar or can just ease my anxiety around my second C section. I'm due my second child in July and will be having another elective C section, my first pregnancy was absolutely perfect and I loved my section but this pregnancy has been the complete opposite and I've got low iron and blood pressure which has made me feel really anxious about having another C section. I know it'll likely all be ok but I'm just so so anxious this time round 😭
