Can anyone give me any snack ideas that is not fruit? š«£ my baby needs to start having a couple of snacks a day now but she already has fruit with her meals, so I wanted to avoid it for snacks - I know itās natural sugars but still, feels like a lot of sugar in one day

Iāve got a two year old girl who is my world, and Iām pregnant with baby #2 who I found out recently is a boy. I feel so, so terrible and guilty writing this but I want to get it off my chest. Iāve only ever grown up around women - I have a sister, a daughter, and Iām close to my mum. My husband isnāt that close to his sister and heās close to his mum but not like I am. I really wanted to give my daughter a sister, to have the same bond hopefully Iāve got. I guess I just look at my husbands family and I worry that he will distance himself one day š© I know itās so silly to think, but because Iāve never really grown up around boys (including cousins) I feel completely out of touch with being a āboy momā. That being said, Iām so so grateful for the gift of having another baby join our family, a little boy who Iāll raise into a great young man. I guess Iām just looking to hear from people who mightāve felt the same or , who are close to their brothers š

I have a 3 month (14 week) old first baby. Sheās had a very rough start due to her health, so weāre still struggling to get out of contact naps and tbf just contact everything and only just at a phase where sheās not screaming in pain all day and night to the point she wonāt eat or sleep enough. Sheās finally gaining weight and some days sheās starting to be just like any other baby. Iām mostly adding this for extra context, and should probably also say I have MS/epilepsy (for me it means I do struggle with fatigue and chronic pain so Im probably not as energetic as most.)
Lately my husband keeps making these comments about how he only had time to game for an hour last night, or how I just get to ābe at home all dayā and then he takes the baby in the evening. Just little things about how heās the one who has to work and then he āhas her a lotā. He works 8-4. I do the nights because of this, which is about 3-4 wakes, then have the baby in the day. I canāt drive but we do try and go for walks, other than that Iām at home or her appointments. At 4:15 he comes in, I make him his coffee and his dinner. He showers, on Wednesdays goes to football until around 6pm, other nights sits with me and then about 6 goes upstairs and on his computer. He has a business from home too so he does some work for that or plays games (these donāt count to him as he says theyāre boring games since he canāt hold her and play games like Smite online with friends.) I make him coffees and check in, often to make bottles because if he sees me heāll say āhave you got her a bottle readyā so itās not like I do nothing or just ignore them, and then spend the time on the housework. Every night I was and sterilise all the bottles, tidy, do the dishes and laundry etc, shower and then take the baby back around 9:30-10 depending whatās needed doing. If he asks me to take her earlier so he can game I do. He talks to his friends on discord, games and does his business stuff then comes to bed. I try and help with the business stuff but thereās not much I can do and my days are taken up with a very unsettled baby who desperately wants to be on me. Some days I donāt eat until dinner. I try so hard to protect his time to game and go to football and get his haircut on the weekends and whatever else and I thank him for working so hard for us and tell him how appreciated he is but he doesnāt seem to think Iām doing enough and says all he does is work. I just donāt know what to do. I feel like Iām failing as a mom and partner. Please be brutally honest, right now when he mentions another child I feel scared. Iām worried Iām too selfish and destroying my relationship

My husband acts like he gave birth to our child. Our child just turned one and he will act like a single dad even when I'm there holding him and struggling to make a bottle or do other things when holding our son. If any chores like food shopping or cleaning needs to be done then he would rather stay home with our son and I do it. I'm starting to feel resentful because I want to actually be a mum that gets to chill and not do everything but he is a great dad. He's just lazy when it comes to chores. What do I do ladies?

What would other mums reaction be to their partner/father of their child going on holiday when their baby 7 weeks old? I know I will be completely fine, capable of looking after our baby whilst he is gone and she will be happy as ever with me anyways but I canāt help but to think he is selfish for even thinking about it and not just waiting until the new year.

My lo is so needy, every minute of everyday and Iām starting to lose the plot. She canāt/wont play independently if Iām around, which means I spend 12/14 hours a day playing with her. It doesnāt matter what sheās playing; pretend play/arts and crafts etc I have to play. If I go to sit down she whines, if I go in another room she cries and Iām so over it. The only way I can get 5 minutes is to put her in front of a screen, which of course make me feel like a shit mum. Sheās not like this with her dad, sheāll happily play independently when itās just him and her. Everyday is just starting to feel so long and I count down the hours till bedtime š®āšØ shouldnāt she be able to play a little on her own without a screen? I canāt keep this up, my brain is so overstimulated everyday I can feel myself getting more and more agitated

I cannot express how hard I tried, how badly everything keeps going and how heartbroken I feel. I separated from my sons father due to the toxic nature of the relationship and wanting my son away from it.
I killed myself to come up with funds to buy my first ever home and now on top of everything else that has gone wrong they found asbestos in the popcorn ceiling. Iām genuinely feeling defeated. I donāt have child support because it entails a legal battle and I had to choose between that or getting my child and myself a home instead of living out of a single bedroom indefinitely. I donāt feel safe about my home now. Any advice?
