Play Group

Hey yall! So I was wanting to put together a play group for mommies and babies to come over and play with my daughter, she needs friends 🥲 i’m a SAHM and don’t get out much and so when we do go out and she sees little kids, she gets so excited and wants to be their friends so dang bad and it hurts my little mama heart that I don’t have Mama friends with kids her age for her to play with so I was just wanting to see how many of you guys might be interested too?

I have a pool and big playground in my backyard so we can always meet here and let the kids be feral while we chat over coffee or while we “garden” (420 friendly 🤗 and also lowkey hate that it’s called gardening now because I do like actually gardening too 😂)

We could also get together at a public playground like the park or play street.

My daughter is 22 months old and my son is six months old and we are in the Fort Worth/Crowley/Burleson area but I don’t mind a drive.

I would love to start a group chat or something for us all to stay connected outside the app because idk about you but the notifications are RIDONCULOUS 😅

I’m a 38 year old mom with an almost 7 year old only child and I have been married for almost 10 years. A girl need some friends! My son and I take all kinds of adventures to parks, local events swimming etc while dad is at work and would love to have a friend with kids his age come hang out with us! Also someone to vent to about life, cook together etc. I live in Monroe anyone in the area?

Leaving for 3 months..

Hello ladies, I just need some more advice in three days I’ll be leaving back to my hometown Chicago Illinois and the plan is to go to school down there with my aunt through her program to be a pharmacy tech and my baby daddy mother said she could watch my child well focus on my studies but I feel somewhat hesitant because it’s my first time leaving him for a long time and I’m having second thoughts as if I want to take him with me because me and the baby daddy have been having problems here and there I know the mom has nothing to do with it but at the same time I don’t know it’s like I’m getting thoughts of I should just bring him with me. What do you all think I should take my baby with me or leave him with his grandma’s? Let me know. It’s very conflicting for me because I know at the same time. Nobody takes care of their baby like you do.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how much I’d love to find a true, lifelong best friend. Someone to share the chaos, the laughs, the late-night talks, and all the little everyday moments that come with motherhood.

A little about me — I’m a mom of 3 amazing kids and currently 16 weeks pregnant with baby #4 🍼 Life is definitely busy and a little wild, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. That said, it can feel a bit lonely sometimes without that close “person” to really connect with.

I’d love to find another mom who’s looking for the same kind of genuine friendship — someone who gets it, who’s supportive, real, and down to build a meaningful, lasting bond.

Back to work

How have people found going back to work? I’m due back in August after a year off and feel utterly sick at the thought of it. I did a keep in touch day and just cried.

Luckily work has agreed to 3 days back but even that feels like so much time away from my baby.

If you had 2 toddlers and wanted to take them on a nature hike would you let them walk by themselves or put them on a backpack leash type thing?

My boys are 3 1/2 years and 2 years and I baby wear my 3 month old. The weather is suppose to be beautiful this next week and I’d love to take them on a nature hike (stroller would not work on the paths) but I would most likely be taking them alone because I don’t really have anyone else to go with me

Looking for a village, mom friends, etc

I’m 35 and I have an soon to be 1 year old next month and I’m also 25 weeks and 2 days pregnant with my son’s little brother. I will have a 1 year and newborn soon and it’s been hard because my son is a handful. He needs kids his age around him to get the energy he has out. I need some mom friends someone to have coffee with maybe just talk to and even have a girls day. I feel like I don’t get time to myself or even get to take care of myself. My son is so attached to me that I never get time to myself to just take a break or check on myself. I have no female friends that are moms I could just hang with or have a girls day to relax I live in New York in Orange County if anyone wants to be friends.
