Its always best she learns from you if she’d like to shave, I didn’t learn I just went willy nilly and I was 12 when I started but looking back I was alright I just wanted to feel grown up. Also the way you shave does matter depending on the way the hair grows and it doesn’t actually grow back darker that’s a myth it’s after the first time you shave it seems darker but barely noticeable unless your hairs are really dark or you let it grow too much. It’s always nice to know how to shave but for convenience you could also teach her to use nair so she can see both ways and figure out which way is right for her. Good luck to you and I hope it goes well :)

I would talk her through her the options, personally I’ve always preferred waxing but use an epilator at home so I’d just be making sure she knows shaving isn’t the only method. If it is something she wants to try then get her a proper one or an electric one not cheap bic ones

My mom got me an electric razor. Im glad i asked her instead of taking my friend up on her offer to teach me to shave with her moms old bic razor and school bathroom soap 😂

I was 9 when I went to my dad about shaving my legs & I really liked his approach, he did get me nair & we learned how to use it together, plus he bought safer razors & left them in the bathroom, under the sink & one in the shower, bc he knew I wouldn’t just stick to using the nair. I grew up “helping” him shave, so I knew how already, but he used an old school double sided razor that you unscrewed & swiped out blades, a coffee mug looking cup w/ a lather bar inside & brushed on the lather w/something that could’ve doubled as a makeup brush. He didn’t want me using that dangerous razor on my legs, no matter how much he had let me practice on his cheeks & neck, he made it very clear that he didn’t even like my stepmom using it, a cut from that is just really bad, it’s never just a nick, even if she loved how well it worked, I listened & was careful. Unfortunately I ended up teaching all my friends how to shave & not all their parents were as understanding as dad was.😂
