Bedtime for 11 week old

At what time should my baby go to sleep? He’s always been a baby that falls asleep by 9pm and has a great stretch of sleep then (usually he wakes up 3-4 times a night and is up for the day around 5-6am) but lately he’s been showing signs of being very very tired by 6pm sometimes… should we put him to bed earlier ? I’m just very scared we’ll be up by 3am if we put him down so early. Suggestions?
He’s having the biggest meltdowns after 6pm because we try to aim for at least 8pm bedtime but he can’t stay awake

I have no suggestions just letting you know my 12 week old I’m struggling with too. Today we tried getting him comfy and cozy at 6pm to sleep by 7/730. That was a no go and he went down closer to 8:30. And then woke up and hour later. Why is this so hard?

Honestly at this early of an age, I don’t think he’d have a “bedtime” yet. Especially since you’re probably still feeding every 2-3 hours.

We noticed our little boy doing the same so we usually give him a half hour nap around 6.30/7pm, no longer than 30 minutes and then hes fine till his 9.30 night sleep, hes 9 weeks old currently and been doing this the last few weeks (we use the huckleberry app and follow their sleep sweetspot for naps and wake windows etc based on the sleep info we added) he does fight his last nap but we just are consistent and he cries for a bit whilst we try and put him down for his nap but its a lot less crying than we had every night beforehand

I also have an 11 week old. We start bedtime routine at 6:45 (wash, pyjamas, bottle and sooth) and she is down at 7:30. It's not something we pushed but she was falling asleep at that time and was showing us she was ready.

All this week she has woken at 1am and then 6am! I'm sure it won't always be like this but works for us

My son is also 11 weeks and we use huckleberry to track sleep and have the nap recommendations on. He falls asleep for the night pretty consistently between 8:30 and 9pm but our app recommends a nap at 5:30 ish most days however my little one always fights this and stays up however he's definitely tired, we call it his witching hours, sounds like your little one might be similar.

We've found distraction but in a comfortable place, is the best way- extended bath time, reading books in bed, tummy time in bed, we have a star projector that he likes to look at too

That way if he does start looking like he wants to sleep we're already in the right place but 80% of the time he does fight it but then keeps his consistent bed time of 8:30-9pm

I don't know about that young, i put my son to sleep at 9 until he was 8 months old, then he started wakes 5 or 6 times a night, changed his bedtime to 7pm and now he sleeps all night. Over tired babies produce cortisol to keep their bodies going, this is generally what causes short sleep windows during the night. But in saying that, there could be many reasons for his multiple wake ups like hunger or temperature. If he is tired by 6 i would trial putting him to bed then for a few days and see what happens. Stopping breast feeding

I decided yesterday to stop BF, my newborn is five weeks but I just find it so demanding with a toddler etc that want to switch to formula now but I am in AGONY. Omg is this normal? No one warned me I’d be in so much pain. I’ve had to sleep upright and take pain relief! How long will this last?

Does anyone knows why my 4 month old puts the dummy in ber mouth like this? She puts the bottom half of the dummy in her mouth. Does that mean we need bigger size?

Pram regret is real 😩 did I choose wrong?

Mums I need help 😩

I bought the Bugaboo Dragonfly and now I’m having serious regrets… I keep thinking I should’ve gone for the YOYO instead 😭

We’re flying on 1st June and baby will be just under 4 months, so now I’m stressing about airport life, folding the pram, gate checking, all of it 🫠

Do I:

1. Keep the Dragonfly and just deal with it for travel
2. Sell it and switch to a YOYO
3. Keep it and get a separate travel buggy

I love the comfort of the Dragonfly but I’m worried it’s going to be a nightmare at the airport. But then I don’t want to downgrade and regret it the other way either 😩

If you’ve travelled with either (or both!) what did you do??
Was the YOYO actually worth it or is it overhyped?

Also flying with a 4 month old… any must-know tips? ✈️🤍

Sleep. 10 nearly 11 months

My LO goes down between 1830 and 1900 every night but no matter what we try. The latest she will sleep is 545. It was 510 this morning 😴 I reduced her daytime sleep yesterday to 2 hours and 5 which I think could have resulted in over tiredness hence the early start - she normally has between 2 hours 30 and 2 hours 45. Does anyone have any words of wisdom? Our whole day has shifted earlier now because of the early start but I really don’t want to do an early bedtime…?

Help!

Since the start of my pregnancy (June 2025) my one nipple has been cracking, developing tiny white blisters, scabbing over, weeping, sticking to my bra, bleeding, burning and itching! It’s also peeling constantly if it’s not doing any of the above. I’ve had 3 lots of antibiotics, every type of cream you can think of, antiseptic wash for surgical patients and been seen my multiple GPs and breast specialists. They keep telling me it’s hormonal and will go away on its own but I’m now 10 weeks PP and it’s still not getting better. Does anyone know what this could be and what I can do to make it better?? Desperate

Naps

My whole day is orientated around planning my babies naps
I know other moms who go out and the naps for around that but it always goes wrong when I try that. Baby won't sleep. He's overtired or he's fallen asleep in the car and then we arrive somewhere and I don't want to wake him
I wish it was easier to plan
