Help!

Since the start of my pregnancy (June 2025) my one nipple has been cracking, developing tiny white blisters, scabbing over, weeping, sticking to my bra, bleeding, burning and itching! It’s also peeling constantly if it’s not doing any of the above. I’ve had 3 lots of antibiotics, every type of cream you can think of, antiseptic wash for surgical patients and been seen my multiple GPs and breast specialists. They keep telling me it’s hormonal and will go away on its own but I’m now 10 weeks PP and it’s still not getting better. Does anyone know what this could be and what I can do to make it better?? Desperate

I had this year's ago and got given cream which helped it came back a couple times which I didn't use cream apart from the first time and it went away on it's own not had it since this was before I had kids so might be different for you but they told me I had eczema of the nipple x

Have you tried jelonet gauzes these are the only thing that helped heal my cracks so really recommend

Have you tried the silver cups? You squeeze a little milk in and cover your nipples with the cup. Wear them in between feeds and silver has natural healing properties and will also stop them sticking to your bra. These fixed all my pain/cracking and I wore them religiously for the first 4 weeks, I'm 7 weeks pp now and havent needed to use them for a week or so, now I'll just use them if issues arise again

Oh sorry I didn't realise, I still think the cups could help, they're not necessarily for breastfeeding x

Sounds like eczema of the nipple. Have you tried some antifungal steroid cream in it?
It may stop and return after some time. It's probably triggered by hormones.

I’ve been having the same issues and got told I have eczema on my nipples with one being worse than the other.
I’ve been prescribed a cream and a soap. I can’t say if they work yet as I only got them yesterday.

I found though if I soak my boobs in warm water (washing up bowl etc) the fabric comes away much more nicely and helps the sting than just pulling the fabric off if you haven’t already tried that.

How to help baby sleep independently

My little girl is 2 months tomo and I currently have to rock pat and shush her to sleep. If I dont put her to sleep she will stay up and be extremely overtired. I cant even sit and rock she will fuss and cry until I stand up. I see others put their baby in the crib and they fall asleep themselves and mine is not capable of doing that. Its so exhausting and even if shes too young now I would love some advice on other peoples experience on how they moved away from rocking their baby and started encouraging them to fall asleep on their own/using other cues to help them fall asleep. She doesn’t like being swaddled and refuses the dummy she will make faces and gag so they dont help.

Breastfeeding

Hi everyone! ❤️

I have inverted nipples, and unfortunately, I wasn’t able to breastfeed my first son for very long due to health issues and difficulties with latching.

I know there are pumps and other options available, but I’d love to get some support and advice before my second baby arrives.

Does anyone know of any local breastfeeding support groups or services? I’d also love to hear from anyone who has experience breastfeeding with inverted nipples. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! 🫶

Bottle feeding

Ive seen alot of comments about prep machines and the rapid cools.
My feeding consultant told me to put the powder formula in after the water but then surly the cooler water mixed in from the prep machine then wont kill the bacteria in the formula? We have a tommee tippee prep machine but if i put the powder in before or mid way the water always goes higher than what im wanting but then if I put it in after is it then not safe?

In regards to the rapid cool im unsure what the best way to use it is. Im a FTM and just not sure what is safest and best for our boy.

How are you spending your days?

Out of curiosity, what do your days look like? I’m 4 weeks PP, I have 2 under 2 and my newborn is tiring me out. I’m waking up late with her (sometimes gone 10am). I go on short walks but most of the day there is a lot of feeding and cuddles. Is this normal for this stage? I feel a little guilty I’m waking up so late and not being more productive.

White noise for naps?

Does anyone use a white noise machine for day time naps? We play white noise at night, but haven’t done it in the day yet. Just thinking of whether it will help our baby to sleep in the day better…
