Anyone else with a Velcro Baby?

Let me vent! Baby only wants me ALL THE TIME. I can’t do anything without her, even if I’m in sight…
It’s cute and I know it’s developmental but I just want to have someone else hold her without her flipping out…

I have the same thing happening with my baby, she wants me all the time or attention or just to be picked up. Sometimes I’ll use my carrier to hold her while I do stuff or have my husband help out. Sometimes I have to give her a bottle and put her down for a nap to get things done too. It gets better though with time, i know it’s hard to hear that or if you’ve been told by others but it does I promise.

I genuinely feel both at the same time. When in social settings my LO will let others hold her and play with her for like 5ish minutes but at home she wants 1 on one with me or my husband 24hrs a day

I feel this so hard 😭 my first was never like this so it has been like culture shock going from a very independent baby to a very needy baby lol I love it but its exhausting. The only people's my baby will let hold him is my younger sister and my mom, and even then he has his limits.
The doctor was genuinely shocked at how hard he was screaming after she held him for literally 30 seconds with me right there next to him 😂

Girl, same! What has gotten me though it is the quote, "the universe gives Velcro babies to the women who need to learn it's ok to be still and in the moment"

Struggling to walk/stand - 4 days post c-section

So I had my c-section on Tuesday this week. Obviously have the occasional pain if I accidentally get up too quick or twist/move wrong, which I expect. However I did also expect to be able to walk and/or stand for longer than 5 mins by now without getting an awful burning sensation coming from my scar…It gradually gets worse the longer I walk or stand and then have to sit back down to relieve the pain. I’m on the recommended painkillers and have been keeping up with taking them as and when I should.

Is this normal? I sometimes have to remind myself that I’m recovering from major abdominal surgery but I’ve seen so many people’s experiences where they’re able to go to the shops etc after only a few days, so I think I’ve given myself false promises!
I know I shouldn’t compare my experience with others but it just feels so defeating when I thought I would be able to at least go for a small walk or do more than just go to the toilet and back 🥲

Early pregnancy bump

I am nearly 6 weeks pregnant with my second child and my stomach is so big when I was pregnant with my first I didn’t have a stomach or a bump until I was six months pregnant and now this was my stomach today and I’ve only ate once today I do have a cyst on my right ovary and I don’t know if maybe that’s causing this or if it’s something else or if it’s completely normal

Scenario: whenever you make plans with just you & a friend, you get to the location to find out she's invited someone else without letting you know prior. This happens on more than one occasion.

How would you view this?

P.s it frustrates me but of course, I can't react cuz the person who I didn't know was coming is there so I just go along with it & mention it to her when the other person is out of earshot. 🙄🙄🙄

Can round ligament pain happen near the belly button?

I am in agony on the left side of my bump it feels bruised to touch but feels like a sharp burning pain most of the day when I’m active, it eases when I rest. I’ve spoken to the consultant and been to triage because of it but they don’t know what it is and just sent me home saying baby is happy but if it’s contractions come back. It’s not contractions, this is my second baby. I’m in agony! 35 weeks
