If you grew up with birthdays being a celebration, do you still celebrate or is it not a big deal?
And vice versa if you grew up with it not being a big deal do you still feel that way or do you go all out now??

I do celebrate, but party size changed. It is rather a small family gathering.

Like Gia said, it's just gotten smaller over the years. My sweet 16 was my last friend birthday because only 8 out of like 30 people I invited came and the whole thing was a mess. So I stopped doing my birthday for a while but now I just celebrate with family. For everyone birthday in my family we all go to my parents house and have dinner and cake and then hangout for a little and go home.

I had birthdays growing up every year but like my mums home karaoke parties lol, the way Asians and Latinas have a party. Mainly for adults 😂 now, yes absolutely I celebrate every year w my gfs and hubby takes me on a date night and on my actual bday hubby cooks and invites my sisters and all their kids over for dinner and buy me cake and sing me happy bday.

I honestly don’t remember 😅
But, I go all out for my boys birthdays.

I use to but no one comes around anymore so i normally have a glass of wine and piece of cake and call it a day

Depends on what you consider a celebration. Do you mean a big party with lots of family members and friends and all the typical things a birthday party involves?
Or can it be just a simple celebration with just immediate family (you, spouse/partner, and kids):and just a cake, ordering out/going to a restaurant, and maybe one gift?
