What’s your daily routine?

I’m struggling.

I feel like I have so much I need to fit into my daily routine. How do we do it all??

I want to workout each day, but I also want to get ready. I have trouble finding time to workout, eat breakfast, and get ready all before my son is up.

If I were to workout in the evenings, who is going to cook dinner?

It’s exhausting trying to figure out my schedule.

Don't stress too much about it, until you get into a flow of your sons routine you won't know when you can slot working out into your schedule, its difficult to accept to start with but you will get yourself into a messy place if you start trying to force everything into one day x

Rough routine with my 2.5 yr old:

8a- Wake
8:15- Spotify & dance (Raffi or classical music)
9a- Snack plate (fruit and cheese with water) while I prep breakfast
9:45a- eat breakfast and clean up
10:30a- dress for day or shower if needed
11a- park with snacks or quick errand (grocery run, craft store, cafe run etc)
12:30-head home to cook lunch, put on episode of Go Diego Go
1p- lunch
1:30-nap
Pick up and do dishes, laundry, or a craft for myself. Prep dinner if it's something big.
He's up by 3/3:30-snack plate
Free play, read together, dance etc
5:30p- husband home, either of us cook dinner
6p-dinner
7p- wind down play/reading
7:30p- bath
8p-bedtime with Papa and I have my night to pick up then indulge myself.

Even though I'm a SAHM my husband is still expected to support me whether it's picking up if it was a DAY after he's off work, taking son to park in evening if I need a break, or taking care of dinner. Does your spouse/partner not help? The entire load of parenting is NOT yours alone to do.
