Is it too soon to drop naps completely

We are really struggling here and not sure what to do. We have tried later naps, earlier naps, shorter naps, and longer naps. It's now been 2.5 hours now of trying to get our baby to sleep tonight. Still haven't even had our dinner and it's 9.30pm. Is this age too soon to drop naps completely? They struggle by the evening if we do but at least go to sleep easier!

My daughter hasn’t napped for the past 2 weeks now. It’s all baby specific. My friends baby is the 3 weeks older than my daughter and her baby is still on 2 naps.

Pretty sure my LG is trying to drop her nap! Evening sleep is becoming very difficult now when she does have a daytime nap. I’m in the process of capping the nap at 1 hour, but I’m pretty sure I’ll have to cut it out completely soon ffs 🙄🙄

My baby is a late July 2024 baby and going through the same thing. Sometimes she sleeps normal time and does 11/12 hours but last couple of nights she’s been going to sleep at 10pm

Overfeeding newborn?!

Today I found out from my GP that feed on demand relates to breastfeeding. I’ve in fact been overfeeding my precious newborn and I feel both embarrassed and guilty.

I’m neurodiverse so I took that phrase literally and although I shouldn’t I feel so bad. She’s been in pain and her stomach was large!! My husband was like that’s normal and I’m so happy I finally listened to myself to get it checked after being gaslit so many times.

Anyway, this is to say follow your instincts and ignore formula pack feeding guidance 😅

Car seat

What car seats did you move onto once your little one outgrew their first car seat? Any you’d recommended (or avoid)

Need to vent about my family im so upset

I was at my mums house with my sisters. I suddenly became very ill, they called an ambulance but no one wanted to keep my baby while I went hospital. In the end I had to tell the ambulance people I wouldn’t go with them as I have no one to watch my baby. They wer disgusted I could tell. They could hear my family saying no I can’t keep the baby I don’t want too. These are the same people who never visited me when my baby was born. I just feel so alone. In the end her dad watched her. I want to have another baby but I know no one will help keep my older baby. I just feel so shit :(

Naps times

11 month old refusing all naps, would you let them cry it out in their crib or allow them to stay awake or even try rocking them to sleep?

How long do you let your baby sleep for during a nap before you wake them up?

First time mum is this normal please?

My son is almost 3, he’s developing really well but I’ve noticed a few things where I’m like is this normal - he doesn’t like tags in his clothes, he cries if the tags are left on his clothes - he is really picky with his food, no meat - he screams so bad and throws up when he’s got to have a bath or have his hair washed - he doesn’t like getting ready in the morning etc. is this just normal for his age? Thanks x
