Anyone else wearing their 2 month old even when they’re asleep these days?

Shes 2 almost 3 months old. (2 months, 3 weeks and 2 days according to my Nara baby app). She was always touch and go. She’ll sleep anywhere from 5 seconds to 4 hours straight but for the most part she wakes up atleast every two hours for feeds. If she sleeps a long stretch she’ll more than make up for it so I haven’t been listening when my pediatrician says wake her up in between feeds. I did at first since I got full every hour to two hours anyway but I’ve also got a toddler so any chance I only have to deal with one kid, I be taking it! But for the last 4 days or so she’s been sleeping for shorter periods and also being awake sometimes longer and sometimes she’s asleep 5 minutes later. I might just wear her everywhere to save myself from constantly putting her down, just to pick her back up seconds or minutes later? Anyone else wearing their infants around? She’s sleeps so well in my infantino carrier so I might as well

She’s also been waking up for feed only once or twice overnight (12/1am-5/6am) so thank God for that!

same here with the 2 hour feeds. he does that in the daytime and sleeps 4-5 hours at night sometimes. some nights he’ll be on one and wake every 2 hours for feeds like in the day.

why did your pediatrician advised you to wake your baby for feeds? is she gaining as expected? our pediatrician advised we let him sleep when he sleeps.

i have to do the same thing with wearing him, sometimes it’s the only way to get stuff done. some days he’ll start crying after 45 minutes asleep so i might as well just carry him cause he’ll scream like we abandoned him 🤣😭

Overfeeding newborn?!

Today I found out from my GP that feed on demand relates to breastfeeding. I’ve in fact been overfeeding my precious newborn and I feel both embarrassed and guilty.

I’m neurodiverse so I took that phrase literally and although I shouldn’t I feel so bad. She’s been in pain and her stomach was large!! My husband was like that’s normal and I’m so happy I finally listened to myself to get it checked after being gaslit so many times.

Anyway, this is to say follow your instincts and ignore formula pack feeding guidance 😅

Car seat

What car seats did you move onto once your little one outgrew their first car seat? Any you’d recommended (or avoid)

Need to vent about my family im so upset

I was at my mums house with my sisters. I suddenly became very ill, they called an ambulance but no one wanted to keep my baby while I went hospital. In the end I had to tell the ambulance people I wouldn’t go with them as I have no one to watch my baby. They wer disgusted I could tell. They could hear my family saying no I can’t keep the baby I don’t want too. These are the same people who never visited me when my baby was born. I just feel so alone. In the end her dad watched her. I want to have another baby but I know no one will help keep my older baby. I just feel so shit :(

Naps times

11 month old refusing all naps, would you let them cry it out in their crib or allow them to stay awake or even try rocking them to sleep?

First time mum is this normal please?

My son is almost 3, he’s developing really well but I’ve noticed a few things where I’m like is this normal - he doesn’t like tags in his clothes, he cries if the tags are left on his clothes - he is really picky with his food, no meat - he screams so bad and throws up when he’s got to have a bath or have his hair washed - he doesn’t like getting ready in the morning etc. is this just normal for his age? Thanks x

How long do you let your baby sleep for during a nap before you wake them up?
