Waiting for baby!

My due date was yesterday. I’m a FTM so knew it was likely that baby would go overdue but feeling a bit defeated that I will probably be having baby in May rather than April. Especially since I’ve been in false labour since 35 weeks.

Myself & my partner are getting constant messages asking “any signs” and giving “tips” which is making it worse.

Anyone else in this situation? Just wanted to vent a bit and see if anyone’s in the same boat!

Due date is tomorrow but was 2 weeks late with my first, so feel like my second will be late too. I know how it feels, but try to enjoy yourself before baby comes

I was also due yesterday! It is my third though. Dont get upsed. First of all be firm with people and demand (not ask) to stop asking, and tell them when it will start you will make sure they know (highly recommend to not tell everyone you are in labour, tell them after the fact otherwise you will be bombarded with messages). I have quite painful BH since 36 weeks so similar to you. Go by every day, do something small, or big, depending how you feel every day. I mopped kitchen floor today and im done 😅 definitely don't let hospital tell you, that you need to be induced at 41 weeks, unless you want. Remember, healthy pregnancy lasts anywhere between 38 and 42 weeks.

Same boat! Fellow FTM here and my due date was Monday but alas here we are. For the messages, although I appreciate they come from a caring place, I’ve just started to ignore them to not overwhelm myself with responses as they will get an update when the time comes.

Have you considered anything assisted at this point? I tried acupuncture yesterday and it’s seemed to have make the little one even more active which hopefully is a good sign with a potential sweep tomorrow. Trying as many “natural” options as possible before looking into alternatives since let’s be honest, we just need them to evacuate the premises asap

Nursing pillow

Hello, 37 weeks here and starting to overthink everything I've prepared (or not) for the baby. We haven't got a nursing pillow yet, but I now wonder if it is something that we should consider buying? I'm planning to breastfeed and this is our first baby, so all still very abstract to us.
Do you have one? How are you finding it?

Small age gap

Morning everyone!🥰

I am just after some honest advise
I have an 8 month old, soon to be 9 months and I have found out I am 7 weeks pregnant. It will be a 16 month age gap which is quite a small gap, is anyone else in the same position or similar age gap?

How did people/ your employer react?
I haven’t gone back to work yet, I am due back next month and I am really struggling with the thought of telling them I am pregnant again as I will only be back at work for around 5/6 months and I feel awful!

Thank you in advance☺️

Support please 🩷

I’m not sure why exactly I’m posting this but I discovered last night that I’m pregnant, I think about 4 weeks. It wasn’t planned and I’m so scared of going through all the tough months again. 😔 I can’t imagine how I will look after two together.
