Which laundry detergent are you using?

Hi all, what laundry detergent are you using? I know fairy tends to be the go to for most, but I really don't like the smell of it.

Any suggestions on others?

Big baby comments

My 3 month old son is on the 99th centile for both his height and weight (I'm 6ft and his dad is 6ft5) and we seem to get lots of comments from people about it.. (he's a bruiser/chunk/big boy ect.) I've always had trouble with body image and I don't know if I'm just being overly sensitive but I feel a pang of sadness whenever someone says a comment about his size... What are some good comebacks to say when people make these comments, without being rude or confrontational

Formula advice

My babies 4 months old and currently on Kendamil but is drinking 210ml bottles every 2-3 hours sometimes every hour an half he’s also had so skin issues like eczema and spits up quite often this only appeared when I changed from aptamil to Kendamil when he was a few weeks old.

Has anyone else experienced skin issues with kendamil also has anyone ever used hungry baby formula?

I’m trying to decide if I should swap him over onto another brand 🙂

Struggling today

I have an 18 month old and I’m 20 weeks pregnant. I’m struggling today mentally, I tried to do a home workout because for me exercise really helps my mental health and my daughter just screamed at me until I pick her up. It’s just the realisation that my life isn’t mine anymore and it’s going to be even less of that with another child.

Everything I do is for my child and it’s so tiring 😞 I went from being fully independent and doing whatever I want to becoming a wife and mother. There are days I enjoy it but it’s rough and I feel so lonely my husband works a lot to provide for us and I don’t have close friends locally.

I just feel regretful for my life decisions I really loved my life before being a mother. both pregnancies were “mistakes” but I was married and didn’t want to terminate so I guess I just have to deal with the consequences now.

I’m sure most mums can relate in some way. I’ve just burst into tears now. I’m exhausted physically and mentally. Now I’ve just put the TV on for my child and I already feel so shit that she’s watching a lot of screen time when we are at home - I try to get out the house a lot with her but I do find it hard especially whilst pregnant

When did your baby say Mama

When did everyone baby say mama, mummy... my little boy is 13 months now, he says dada, nan, says the animals names, animal noises and even shouts Jessica. Everytime me and my partner try mama he just stares at you and then he'll say dada

Crawling

What stages are we at mumma’s?

My son is nearly 8 months and up on all 4s, rocking like crazy and sometimes going backwards. I feel like he is soooo close haha. He is so different to my daughter who was crawling as soon as she was 7 months, I swear boys are much lazier lol

Intimacy

Our baby is now 11 weeks old and we both adore him! However, we recently found out he has severe reflux (now medicated) and CMPA + soya+ egg allergy (also being exclusively breastfed due to bottle refusal) so he is a stage 5 clinger and only naps during the day on us but does do short stints in the next to me bed by himself at night.
My question is how are you all being intimate with your partners? We are still flirty and jokey with each other stealing kisses and cuddles when we can so I know the spark hasn’t gone. But how do you get more intimate? We can’t do anything during the day as explained and at night he is in the bedroom with us so seems wrong to do anything 😂
