My baby has turned 3 months - he will sleep on his own at night in his crib but day time naps have always been an issue, contact naps, carrier or pram, once we put him in his crib in the day he wakes immediately - we’ve tried all the tricks and they work at night for the crib but just not the day. Anyway, now even for a contact nap in the day it is a major battle, red face crying, 30 mins could pass, trying to stop and reset him, I’m trying different wake window lengths (he has never really given many cues for sleep) but every nap is a nightmare and it’s draining me so much - are other people experiencing this? I don’t mind the contact naps it’s the battle to even get them now, and to make it worse the battle is longer than the naps now - 30 mins max!!

Omg, yes I'm having the exact same issue! My LO gets so fussy so I eventually just give in to the contact naps during the day

Keep up the contact naps and baby wear ◡̈ yoga ball + carrier comes in handy if he likes movement to fall asleep

Been struggling with the same thing! But started using an app called Napper which is actually doing a scarily good job at predicting when he’ll want a nap based on lots of other baby napping data apparently. Find that if I miss his window it’s so hard to get him to sleep but if I put him in the cot just before the window he’ll usually send himself off to sleep if it’s nice and quiet and boring 💤 still not perfect over here by any means but maybe this could help!

Same here. We might get a 15-20 min stretch if we're lucky!

my baby is the same, only has very few and short naps throughout the day and if she does have them it has to be contact napping. the second i try to then transfer her to her bassinet her eyes ping open 😂 its been super tiring but on the plus side it means she sleeps anything between 6-9 hours straight at night (and personally id rather the busier days to be getting sleep at night). ive bought lots of sensory toys, piano play matt etc and we go on lots of walks now to atleast try keep us both occupied in those longer day windows X

Oh my
Same with mine. She feeds, sleeps on the boob but once it comes off; shes awake takes another 1h+ to get her to sleep and by that time she needs to feed again 🤣🤣🤣🤣
