I’ve got a couple of 3rd birthday parties coming up, I want to get something small that I can repeat across the season 😂 I’m thinking a book, because as a mum toys I don’t want would maybe be annoying but a book is mostly safe? However it needs to be kind of different to reduce the risk of them already having it. And ideally available on Amazon 😬🫠 because I’ve left it late. Any recos?

Induction vs C Section

Hi All!
I’ve recently found out that I can’t go to my due date (for a couple reasons). I initially had my sights set on a natural birth in the birthing centre but now that’s obviously not on the cards!

I’ve been reading a lot online & speaking to people and I’m really torn on an induction or planned c section. I’d love to be able to give birth naturally but I don’t want it to be a long process that ultimately ends in a c section?! I’ve also got GBS so I’m more concerned about a long labour.

I have an appointment coming up with a consultant to discuss but I’d really like to have my own “plan” on what I’d like before I go to the appointment.

So… anyone with prior experience… planned c section or induction? What would/did you choose?

Hospital letter

I was just wondering if anyone recieved a 'duty of candour' letter shortly after having there LO and if so have you had a follow up to it?

Does this sound like early signs of pregnancy?

I have a 20 month old (just turned on thr 26th) and ive been having a few symptoms of early pregnancy.
I don't remember much of my pregnancy with my first as I was so dazed all the time!

I think I've just convinced myself I'm not pregnant (I'm on the implant) but some part of me thinks I really really am😂
I haven't taken a pregnancy test yet, but in the next week I will be.

•Weird pinching feeling which is sharp
•Sore boob's
•Being more energetic
•Constipation!!!
•Gaining weight
And just overall a gut feeling. I'm kind of hoping I am, as we're ready to bring another baby into the world but I don't want to get myself excited and get really sad if the test comes back negative :(

Walking while holding baby

Did you find it difficult to hold your baby while walking or carrying your baby around after a C section.

Go to hospital earlier

So I had a appointment today, im 40+1 and I cannot remember if the consultant said to go to hospital when:
1 contractions are 3-4 minutes apart
2 having 3-4 contractions in 10 minutes.
I checked my notes and she only put there that i was advised to arrive earlier than they would normally advise. Logic tells me it would be option no1. I actually started contracting so 🤷
