if your baby is gaining good weight, you’re more than likely fine. I was bad about pumping in the first month but now (LO is 3mo) I pump after every day feed except 2 and I pump in place of feeding her for MOTN feed (my husband gives her a bottle and I pump for next nights bottle at 3am). our pediatrician told me last week I don’t need to do that anymore and I could just pump immediately after first feed of the day and right after the last feed and that should be enough since my only purpose for doing it is to have a backup supply in the freezer (she’s gaining good and no longer needs to be supplemented like she did when she was first born because she had a tiny birth weight). I think it’s honestly personal preference unless your doctor recommends it - I mean, my dr told me I don’t need to and my personal preference is still to do it
