My dad is really against me homeschooling my kiddos. Im just trying it out for the kindergarten year for my daughter and he makes it seem like im going to mess up her whole life... im not even so sure he researched anything. Think he is just like "not how id do it, your wrong to. Go ahead mess up your kids" and that just sucks. Anyone else deal with this? If so what did you do about it??

My mom does that to me and honestly it is what is best for MY family. I told my mom straight up it is what I want to do and that just because it's not traditional in her mind doesn't mean it's a bad thing.

I honestly haven’t told my family that’s what we plan to do yet. I know my mom will judge me for it too. I’m keeping it quiet while I gather info, research, and plan as much as possible so when the endless interrogation starts I have answers for everything. And if I don’t have an answer “because it’s what’s best for us” will suffice.

He needs to respect your choice that’s not his child he doesn’t have a say that’s like one thing about my mom I had to straight up tell her that at one point and she got it
