My first is currently 6 months and we want to have another, but I want to wait until my baby girl is at least 3 but then I’ll be 38 years old

My first was almost 6 when I had my second (turned 6 two months after baby was born)

My 2 are just over 3 years apart and it’s a good age gap for us. Personally I wouldn’t want any smaller of an age gap. I was older when I had both of my kids (had just turned 41 when I had my youngest), so we couldn’t have had much bigger of an age gap realistically anyway, but this has worked out well so far. They’re 4 and 14 months.

My son turned 6 the day after his sister was born. He dotes on her. 🥰 only 2 months in but he is really understanding of mummy is with the baby and need to wait sometimes. Not jealous at all of our divided attention. Daddy takes him out for day outs aswell which he loves x

24 🫢😂. Second one took a very long time! If I could physically and biologically have another I would. I would have been ready for another when lg was about 2.5yrs old

18m. Then my third came when they were 7 and almost 9

Almost 3. Just 3 months shy of 3.

First turnt 6 five weeks before I had the second

Mine are 18 months apart. There is no perfect age gap. My kids hate each other and other children. It’s really up to their personalities.

Had my 2nd 6 days before my 1st turned 4, I did want a 3 year gap but didnt work out that way for us and actually 4 years worked well in terms of only have 1 lot of nursery fees to pay for!

Am I being selfish?

My husband has had a lay in until 9am the last two mornings whilst I’ve taken the baby downstairs from 6am so he could have peace and quiet.

This morning was meant to be my turn for a lay in, he is cuddling the baby but he is crying in the bed and I say to him, I think he needs his nappy done as that’s why he is crying and he ignores me after I told him around 5 times that the nappy needs to be done as baby isn’t settling… so I took the baby off him and did the nappy myself and took baby downstairs and said to husband enjoy your lay in 😂

I don’t understand why he couldn’t just do the nappy or take him downstairs like I do for him 😫

Is anyone else’s husband like this?

Time flies- first time mom

I just wanted to share how I’m feeling and see if anyone else feels the same. My baby was born March 4th and he’s just turned 2 months. I find myself very emotional and sad that he has grown so much. At first I was so overwhelmed with fear of having to take care of a whole other human- he was so tiny- but now that he’s getting big I wish I could go back in time. Obviously it’s good he’s growing and is healthy but it’s so sad how time flies.

He goes up on straight arms and pushing around and off things

When to feed more?

When do you know when to feed your newborn more ozs? My LO (almost 6 weeks old) has been on 3oz, sometimes 3 and a half if he seems extra hungry. But lately he’s been getting hangry an hour before his next feeding time (we go every 3 hours), and he seems to struggle pooping. I tried him on 4ozs, and he seemed just fine, there was a little extra spit up but other than that he went back to normal with not getting angry between feedings and his pooping was back to normal. Should I keep him at 4ozs?

Sleeping with reflux

Hi Mamas,

My baby boy struggles with reflux (he also has laryngomalacia - Drs think it will resolve itself by 6 months) and we do all the recommended bits like keeping upright after feeds etc.

However, when it comes to night time and sleeping, he will go down absolutely fine in his next to me but will wake himself up being uncomfortable with his tummy or being sick. The only way to then settle him is to have him upright again (luckily he settles quickly as bless him he's a good little sleeper) but then we put him back down and the cycle continues.

He's sleeping great! Us? Not so much🤣
Help 🙏🏼
What's your advice on helping reflux-ey baby's to stay asleep in their own bed?
